MODDII returns in FlipSid3 Tactics

Andreas "MODDII" Fridh has announced his return to activity in a new Scandinavian top team called FlipSid3 Tactics.

The Swedish veteran had been out of action for nearly eight months now, having been last seen at DreamHack Winter, which he attended with SK Gaming as a stand-in after being replaced by Markus "pronax" Wallsten in fnatic.

In the last two weeks, he had been seen streaming and playing on a regular basis, making the rumour mill go into overdrive about a potential return to full activity.

Fridh has now linked up with four other free agents in a new top team that on paper looks perfectly capable of challenging Ninjas in Pyjamas, ESG! and fnatic for the top spot in Sweden.

MODDII returns to action

Joining him are three other Swedish players, former fnatic team-mate Andreas "schneider" Lindberg as well as ex-SK Gaming duo Simon "twist" Eliasson and Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi.

The last member hails from Norway and is none other than Martin "cENTRYZ" Brandal, who had been without a team since being released by ESC Gaming in the aftermath of Copenhagen Games.

This Swedish/Norwegian mixture will be donning the colours of FlipSid3 Tactics, an international organisation that had already ventured into CS:GO in March, but with little success.

"So here we are, a lot of missed out talents from several other teams gathering up to make this top team," Lindberg told HLTV.org.

"Me and the rest of the players in the team felt that we are not done yet, so we are here to show everyone what we are made of.

"After a lot of back and forth with organizations I stumbled across F3 and since it's not a familiar organisation for me and a lot of other CSGO players we were skeptical.

"We decided to hear them out anyway, as it turned out they were not what I expected. They had good sponsor agreements and good economic funding. The whole staff was really honest and kind with the will to get bigger and better.

It's like the rejects teaming up to take revenge on their traitorous former teammates and organisations. Please qualify and win EMS Cologne, what a story line! On a more realistic note, I sense a lack of an IGL as well as leadership and proper team chemistry. Dunno how well these guys will be doing, and how well they will take not doing well.

Moddii and Delpan can't play together. They did well in MYM back in 1.6, but I guess something went wrong, and they eventually parted. It is also a rumour that Moddii can be a bit toxic, and that was the reason he never made it into SK when walle played. He eventually got into fnatic tho.

Thanks, Captain Obvious but even tho they are the 2 best awpers in this game, Kenny french guardian slovakian, I dont understand why u mentioned non-scandinavian awp-ers!? without braking any other teams like ESG, Navi, Titan which is good as it is now (maybe except Titan) and beeing swedish or a norwegian player. There is no other option than twist and honestly they dont need, this lu on paper looks promising.

In my opinion, ESG can't called be an established team because they haven't tasted win or defeat in any tournament. First let the result come out after that if any organization comes or not, so many things matters to be stable. So, till changes will not disturb any organization and four players that much if maikelele replaces cENTRYZ. yeah on paper, they are good. all have rating >= 1.00. Only VP, HR, Na'Vi has such lineup. So, Flipside is the fourth one. But still i have doubt on cENTRYZ'S performance.
