Titan star Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom is weighing up the possibility of retiring from gaming, according to reports in France.

Dorian Costanzo, a reporter from Vakarm.net, cites sources close to Adil "⁠ScreaM⁠" Benrlitom to suggest that the Belgian prodigy is "most likely going to retire" from gaming.

Last night, it was reported that three players from Titan, including ScreaM, were on their way out of the team and that Dan "⁠apEX⁠" Madesclaire, Hovik "⁠KQLY⁠" Tovmassian and Mathieu "⁠Maniac⁠" Quiquerez would be brought in.

But while Edouard "⁠SmithZz⁠" Dubourdeaux and Nathan "⁠NBK-⁠" Schmitt have apparently found a new team already, ScreaM is nowhere to be seen, which means that either he has been left out in the cold or he expressed no interest in joining Vincent "⁠Happy⁠" Schopenhauer's new team.

Is this the end of the road for ScreaM?

Known for his impressive aim, which has earned him the unofficial title of "headshot machine", ScreaM rose to stardom when he joined VeryGames in January 2013 after plying his trade in Imaginary Gaming and BuyKey.

Despite being the top fragger in most matches during his first year on the team, with headshot percentages upwards of 80 percent in many cases, ScreaM's level dropped considerably in the last months, but he still has Titan's second-highest rating at 1.13, only behind Kenny "⁠kennyS⁠" Schrub's 1.21.

Considering he already is one of the best CS:GO players of all time, and is a key player for Titan, people tends to forget that he just is a VERY young talent for his level of skills. Imagine ScreaM in 3-4 years, woooah. ScreaM, you don`t have bad time man, take your time, find a decent team and just improve your game sense and aim, and later on in your career you will again be seen as a top 10 player world wide. A player with his skills doesn't wake up one day and decides he wants to retire out of the blue. I think he is burnt out from playing in Titan with ex6. In 2012-13 he was the one carrying VG to the finals only to get defeated to NiP. I think he will take a short break from CSGO 3 months max and return to his 2013 form.

As i already said, im sure he was not used OPTIMALLY in TiTan what ultimately led him to loose a bit of his skill even if he was still crazy mad. There no need integrating an aim beast in a team if you dont know how to increase his potential in the long-term ... Hes not a very good player either way i don't think he will be missed. Making headshots doesn't always makes you a great player i'm sorry hes impact for Titan the last few months has been zero to none.. There is also no indication he wants to improve on other aspects of the game wich he is lacking therefore he will always bee a brainless aim-bot wich good teams will know how to handle regardless of hes raw aiming power. Also Titan didn't really suit hes game-play i guess some of the worst tactics i've seen in this game..... no diversity what so ever.. His playing style didn't suit Titans style lately and therefore the drop. There were too many things going bad in Titan to let him focus on the game and how he can keep up the aim machine :) In a solid team without any kind of conflicts he still can shine with some help and confidence from the team. shox was "kicked" from Titan and he was a mad fragger and he proved this on lans, but why his stats dropped so bad in the last days of Titans no one asked about. Maybe Titans demands are too high and they are not playing really realxed and focused, thingink more at "what if we fail again?" and guess what, they did it again and again.

The "Elite" circumstances fucked him and Titan up. That's all. Shox realized in time that this "dorm gaming house" ain't going to be help and/or improve so he left, of course the were other reasons as well. I'm glad to see ScreaM not in Titan anymore, his skill ceiling and consistency dropped dramatically and he just wasn't reaching the skill levels he used to. I'd still have liked to see him in the best team without Ex6tenz, but I still think that this change was better for his individual performances, at least if he continues playing.
