Epsilon remove fxy0, add SIXER

Epsilon have announced that they have released their star player Joey "fxy0" Schlosser, replacing him with Christophe "SIXER" Xia.

Only two days before their trip to SLTV StarSeries XI Finals, where they will face LDLC, Titan and Na`Vi, Epsilon have announced a lineup change which saw the removal of their star AWPer Joey "⁠fxy0⁠" Schlosser due to a "difficult attitude in game".

fxy0 removed from Epsilon

To replace him they added former CS 1.6 star from teams like Millenium and eSahara, Christophe "⁠SIXER⁠" Xia. He was once 13th on our Top 20 of 2010, but as of now has no mentionworthy competitive CS:GO experience aside from local French tournaments.

Nevertheless, according to Epsilon's statement SIXER will be playing with full commitment from now on:

"Although a brilliant player, the decision was taken unanimously after several attempts to contain his difficult attitude in game. We would like to thank fxy0 for his hand in many of our successful wins along the year.

This lead on to the difficult task to find a new 5th player, and we are extremely excited to announce the CS 1.6 legend Christophe “sixeR” Xia will be jumping in. With a strong desire to return and 100% commitment, we will give him the necessary tools for what we hope will be another brilliant professional gaming career."

It remains to be seen whether they will be able to retain the spot at DreamHack Winter as they are now down to only 2 members of the Epsilon squad that made it to quarter-finals at ESL One Cologne - Sf and GMX.

Its like fxy0 and ScreaM are on the same level and uzzzi, sf, gmx, pm, sixer are far below them in terms of skill. Fxy0 has always been topfragging and carrying epsilon, by far in top of best awpers.

Uzzi has been consistently topfragging almost every game for the last month or so. But I agree that the rest of them are much worse. Although I think fxyO was better than ScreaM in terms of fragging only, dno how valuable they were to the team

HOLY SHIT. THIS IS HUGE. This dude was the pinnacle of French CS.

I hate to say it, but I don't think SF is skilled enough to be able to play with this roster. PM is pretty bad too, but I'd say he's better than SF. Losing fxy0 is huge, but maybe if SF's temper is better than fxy0's then this change is for the better. The thing is, fxy0 is a decent player, but I'm not sure if people have actually been watching him lately. He frags adequately, and gets a good amount of them, but he misses so many AWP shots that he should not be missing. Let's see how this change fairs.

Don't judge him from his last month's, when he has a stable team with Kio and Shox he was always top fragging every match and was sick.

I can't blame fxy0 for raging at a team so far below his standards. Same with Maikel on team Orbot. Their temperament wouldn't be a problem if their teammates weren't provocatively bad. Pyth and Scream obviously excluded.

fxy0 is one of my favourite players. After the french mixing I remained a Epsilon fan beceause of fxy0 now that he's out. I hope he finds a good team. Best of luck fxy0!

if he wants to play professionnaly in the long term, he will have to face his behaviour problem and change it. fxy0 stands now alone without any team i guess ... Integrated a 'subtop' team is now his only option if he still wants to play (i guess so because its only his debut). Hes gonna learn and will obviously be obliged to change that because the will to compete internationnaly will come back for sure. gl !

I strongly believe SIXER was one of the best player in 1.6, I remember his ace vs Norway on the pistol round youtube.com/watch?v=Tpu4MbkxXD0 Sadly, there are players like him and Maj3r that are so talented but can't really win or gain the status they deserve because their team wasn't working or stuff like that, but as skill they are just sick.
