New iBP, Denial in Legends Series

iBUYPOWER's new roster will take on Denial in CS:GO Legends Series on Sunday evening local time, or at 02:00 on Monday night in Europe.

Following a trip to Europe that saw iBUYPOWER finish second at FACEIT Season 2 Finals and exit ESWC in the quarter-finals, they shocked the scene with two roster moves.

The team removed both its long-time in-game leader Sam "⁠DaZeD⁠" Marine, as well as its newest recruit Lucas "⁠steel⁠" Lopes, to get better socially fitting players in.

iBUYPOWER's new roster will have its debut sooner than expected

Soon after iBUYPOWER announced they'd attend DreamHack Winter with Derek "⁠desi⁠" Branchen as a stand-in, and now it seems he will be joined by Nick "⁠nitr0⁠" Cannella, from Denial.

The new iBUYPOWER roster will now have its debut against another prominent North Ameriteam team Denial in CS:GO Legends Series on Sunday evening, or Monday night in Europe.

I don't really follow NA scene but am I the only one that find the loss of Dazed and steel huge for IBP ? No offense to desi and nitr0 but can they fill and keep on having the same results ?

Also Swag and Ska have a higher rating than him, not that I really care about the ratings on this site. Not trying to hate on DaZed, I actually think it was a mistake for IBP to boot him. I just think people over estimate him at times when it comes to certain aspects. Still a very good IGL.

So is anyone from the fnatic lineup besides maybe pronax thats close to being a legend in both games, they were all semi-pro/young talents in 1.6 except pronax and yet theyre owning everyone, dignitas CSS legends, LDLC as well, NiP too, yet fnatic owns everyone, its not about "legend" its about playing well and combining young talent + experience.

iBP is like a 10man team on paper right now who the fuck is gonna be calling for them now? surely none of the mute trio. nitro has never been igl or had a serious lan experience and desi probably called briefly in jumas afaik. really want to know whose braindead decision it was to cut the core of the team and replace them with some scrap metal. you just don't do that, unless you are pretty fucking desperate, especially right before a major. yeah, they've had the ~lowest kdr out of all 5 in the recent tourneys, but they were calling all the shots and they're the reason ibp managed to put up a good fight vs fnatic. gl azk/swag/skadoodle, i heard you guys are really proficient in sign language. you don't want the opponents to be hearing your "strats" across the venue anyways, do ya now?
