Ninjas in Pyjamas coach Faruk "pita" Pita says it will be a "f*cking disgrace" if Valve allows fnatic's Robin "flusha" Rönnquist to take part in DreamHack Winter.

Just a week before DH Winter, two teams, Titan and Epsilon, have already been disqualified from the Swedish major as a result of the VAC bans handed to Hovik "⁠KQLY⁠" Tovmassian and Gordon "⁠Sf⁠" Giry, respectively.

Despite the fact that there is no evidence pointing towards a new ban wave coming anytime soon, an air of suspicion continues to surround the top tier of the Counter-Strike scene.

NiP's coach Faruk "⁠pita⁠" Pita has now taken a jibe at Robin "⁠flusha⁠" Rönnquist, seemingly revealed that he believes the fnatic ace should be VAC banned before DH Winter. The tweet has since been deleted, but you can find a screenshot of it below.

fnatic's own coach, Jonatan "⁠Devilwalk⁠" Lundberg, has already responded to such allegations, and it is no surprise to see him stand for his player.

Actually it's pretty horrible. NiP and Fnatic are in good relations. Moddii was fired when he threw some words at NiP and JW was pretty heavily criticized by carn and the rest of the team. Taking a shot on a flick in that situation isn't weird in itself. The weird part is that he fired only one bullet and flicked to a spot that makes literally no sense at all to flick to whether he heard the zoom or not. Hi all, I'm going to be straight as possible. So a pro player goes to lan proves that he is good, win good tournments and when he plays online he cheats? I take two conclusions form this: 1- If some pros do this to me they are fucking dumb, because they prove on lan that they are good why cheat online :o 2- They are good so they are awere of many situations on the game when they use their head and think of what they would do if they were defending or attacking, with that hours of training they have another perspective of the game to a high level that only who plays at that level can understand.

Have you guys even thougt about how devastating it would be for CSGO if Valve banned everyone that's cheating in the pro scene? Like DDK said, it would make sponsors very skeptical about the players, causing lack of sponsorship, less pro teams, less tournaments, and less money for Valve. Not a lot of you seem to understand how the VAC system works, even after the fact that smn, SF, and KQLY all got banned at different times. The delay for a VAC ban can take from the day of detection can be from 2 weeks up to 1 month. They do this to make it tricky for people to pin poont what/how/when they got detected. Therefor, if any other pro player attending DHW 2014 does get VAC'd after the tournament, that will be extremely nerve wracking for the teams and community. Yes, I do believe more people are hacking other than smn, SF, KQLY, and flusha (take off your fan boy hats and open your blind eyes). But they could just be using these specific bans as a statement to keep pros from hacking to maintain the various team organization's trustworthy for the pro players and the popularity of the game itself. This scene is a complete mess right now, it COULD be the downfall of competitive CS, but I don't think so. I bet 2-3 months down the road people will be back to normal viewing, instead of trying to pick out the SMALLEST suspicions from demos (which can result into false accusations since a lot of people don't know what to look for in this hack).

Even when it's obvious that Flusha is cheating they cannot actually do anything because he didn't get VAC banned. The only solution they can do is letting him play with his own or with a brand new hardware (mouse, headset etc) and a new steam account so he cannot install any third party software and play clean (if he will be okay with that and play as he used to - it's all good, if not - there is clearly something wrong and suspicious). They can't ban him from playing just because some HLTV people accused Flusha of cheating. They need serious evidence that he cheated, like logs from his computer because all of these actions that he made can be coincidence (i think not, lel). Personally I've checked the demo's several times and the fact that all 3 video's were shot at the same event (this is what I've heard, so HLTV pitbulls; don't attack me if I'm wrong) does make me think that he's using cheats. Even if the video's weren't shot at the same event, they're still very sketchy. Especially the one on dust2 is just... TOO much randomness to be legit. Nonetheless, the decision is valve's and Pita doesn't have the authority to bann flusha, so all he did here was disgrace the NiP name. Valve needs to report how KQLY & SF were caught and if any further related bans will be incoming regarding Pros. the d2 & mirage clips of flusha are incredibly damning. if KQLY & SF who have no suspicious plays (as yet) are banned but Flusha isn't, it would be a great oversight. Cheating on lan @ a major is much worse than online. Sure, this supexo cheat makes Valve look damn stupid, but they need swallow their pride and make a proper response. DreamHack orga also has a part to play, if they just want the show to go on even if it means letting cheaters play, shame on them. You can even setup which bullet the aimbot should start to work at. ....f.e. first 5 bullets of m4 = clean, rest aimbot. etc. etc. Aimbots are hilarious.

First of all - this aimbot is not like you thinking (public rage hacks) It's very complicated expensive program. So It's an aimbot and there is at least 3 videos (including your example) with 12th bullet that triggers headshot. And what few clips are u talkin about? There is 10 clips or so.

The thing that sf and KQLY were supposedly using was a silent aimbot (the xhair doesn't move on its own). A normal aimbot actually moves the xhair to the head so it's easier to spot. In these vids the xhair moves so it would be a normal aimbot. So everytime flusha aimbotted you would be able to see the xhair go to the target, and I think there would be a lot of sketchy shots instead of just a couple. 90% of the bust vids are him aiming at people through walls which could just be random or sound. Of course, everytime I write a post the number of videos gets bigger so I could be wrong. Just trying to point out the difference in what KQLY was using and what flusha potentially is.

The thing is, if (hypothetically) flusha did get banned, there is now a lot of suggested evidence he did so while on LAN... That means no excuses about just '1 game in MM', or 'just a #1 week trial'... That may well mean bye bye fnatic as an organisation, which would seriously impact upon other players as well as the likelihood of them ever being picked up by other teams. That's a lot to consider if you're only 95% certain...

The problem with VAC is that it can not detect private cheats. The only reason the recent pros got caught is because the cheat was leaked to valve or esea. VAC is not good enough to catch hackers. I think a committee of specialist should look at these pro demos and determine if cheats were used. Kind of like overwatch but with experts judging. I'm sure somebody will be wrongly convicted but its better than having many pros cheating and earning money from the cheats.
