Team Orbit have confirmed that Mathias "pauf" Köhler has parted ways with the organisation.

Orbit had been expected to undergo roster changes ahead of the New Year after Mathias "⁠pauf⁠" Köhler was listed on FlipSid3 Tactics' roster for tonight's StarSeries XII qualifying match against unu.AiN.

The Swedish player, who attended the ESEC Finals, in Serbia, last weekend, has now officially parted ways with Orbit, just two months after being recruited by the team, together with Fredrik "⁠roque⁠" Honak.

This leaves Orbit with a four-man roster just 24 hours before their opening ESL Pro League match, against Titan, but Jacob "⁠pyth⁠" Mourujärvi is confident the team will bounce back from this setback.

"Today is a sad day for us in Orbit as our good friend pauf decides to leave us, he got an offer from another team that he couldn't resist and we wish him the best of luck for the future," Mourujärvi told HLTV.org.

"We will continue to play together and hopefully we will be able to come back stronger as I still believe in this team."

Team Orbit currently have the following quartet:

Andreas "⁠Maxaki⁠" Andersson
Jacob "⁠pyth⁠" Mourujärvi

I hope so. Everytime I see F3 play, I feel like they are also one man down. Pauf did well at ESEC, and him at F3 would really make them improve. :p

I could really only see them dropping Zende for Pyth, but Zende has been going hard lately, so I'm not sure if they'll drop anyone. Hopefully that's the final lineup :D

Yeah, about that. There are very few Swedish teams atm at his skill level. Schneider has been looking for a team in 6 months now, and only just now will it pay off. I think he might join F3 though, since they really need a new player. gl to him at least. <3
