NiP, fnatic, Virtus in StarSeries XII

Starladder has unveiled the full participants' list for the 12th edition of its StarSeries league.

Sixteen teams from across Europe will lock horns in StarSeries XII, whose online stage is scheduled to run until March 8, while the LAN Finals are due to take place from March 27-29, at Kiev's CyberSport Arena.

The participating teams have been drawn into four groups, from which the top two teams will move on to a second group stage. The third-placed sides will enter the qualification #2 bracket.

The top two sides from both groups in the second group stage will automatically progress to the StarSeries Finals, while the bottom two will face off for the fifth place in Kiev through the qualification #1 bracket.

The losing teams from this bracket will then be placed in the qualification #2 bracket, in which the sixth and final place at the season finals will be up for grabs.

After a provisional list with eight teams was revealed last month, Starladder has now announced that NiP, fnatic, Virtus.pro, dignitas, Titan and Na´Vi have also accepted invitations to take part in the league, which is completed by dAT Team and unu.AiN, both of whom come from the online qualifier.

they need to qualify to tournament as all others. x6tence saved spot after last season in StarSeries. k1ck were eliminated 2 or 3 season's ago and doesn't wanna to continue playing in ProSeries. but u are in right

Taken from the news page where those teams were announced a while ago. According to that all the teams were invited, that's why I said that. If they had a spot saved then my bad, didn't know it :P

Seeds were maked accord to results not only Major tournaments or Thorin's rating. LDLC was top in our last season and last major tournament, and Fnatic doesn't play eleventh season and was 8th in last major.

This shows how fucked up the new generation scene has become, people whine for months about a player that is obvious hacking and all keep yelling like some fanboy, no he doesn't cheat because he isn't vac banned.
