Titan advance at ASUS ROG

Titan move forward to the semifinals of ASUS ROG over 3DMAX and will play the first place team from group A tomorrow.

Titan have trumped 3DMAX 16:12 on de_cache and have now become the second team to advance out of group B to the semifinals of ASUS ROG.

The Finns of 3DMAX got off to a strong start on the T side of de_cache, although the game ground to a halt due to technical issues shortly after. After the pause, 3DMAX continued to string together rounds until the score was a stark 8:1.

Titan began to counter however and managed to pick up a few CT rounds, finishing the half at a deficit score of 6:9.

Kenny "⁠kennyS⁠" Schrub shone with another all-star performance

The game became much closer in the second half with both teams exchanging their places in the lead. In the twenty-fifth round, Kévin "⁠Ex6TenZ⁠" Droolans saved Titan with a one-on-three that forced 3DMAX to eco in the next round.

3DMAX were not able to muster enough rounds in the end

After this moment, Titan gained the full push needed and took all the final rounds to the very end, winning 16:12.

Not actually. IMO they create their strats completely keeping kennyS in mind. So he has to do the important work and he actually has those skills to do it! So he always topfrag. But i wonder how is soooo consistent. I rarely saw kennyS underperforming.

Do you know how to watch a game? Stop looking only stats. Ex6 clutched at 12-12 and literally reverse the momentum and economy situation. Maniac make crucial kills during a defending A like a god unlocking the situation winning the round and breaking 3DMax momentum. Yeah kennyS was amazing but stop looking at the stats, Titan is more team-material than any team, it's not because kennyS is always at the top of the scoreboard that his teammates are useless ffs. I like Titan a lot but I'm actually sad because I realize that most of you don't look a game the right way and only focus on the scoreboard.

Of course and there is nothing wrong about it. But I wouldn't say their strat are completely relying on kennyS but on the 4750$ the team spent to buy a sniper. Titan know how to use their strengths, their assets and the potential of each players in the team, so why would it be wrong to use kennyS's potential that way ? I think a CS team is like picks in MOBAs during a draft, you play differently according to the heroes you have.

I mean, The ex6 strats are really good. What proves it to me is that last buy round from 3DMAX when ex6 send a molotv in vents, forcin CT to jump off, where kenny was waiitng with the AWP and got the kill. Those are calls he makes that are proving he's still such a great IGL and relyies on both apEX entry frags and KennyS awp kills, as much as he expects Maniac or Rpk to be able to make those great rounds they did, being the support for the team. And btw, ex6 is such still a great AWPer, like he already was on previous CS, he shwoed it on d2 against mouz ... Why would you even replace this guy ? ...

You definitely didn't watch the game and saw who did the crucial kills to unlock the painful situations.

I couldn't careless about their last game, 3dmax got raped 16-2 by NiP. Titan lost on Mirage and almost lost on cache against same team. Even if Ex6 & Maniac would have top fragged this wouldn't have meant anything, 'cause it's just 3dmax and Titan are suppose to be a top team with players like kennyS & apex.

I'll never expect Titan to win a tournament right now but I feel they can be a top team in a close future because they understood the recipe of a good team which is stability, time and work together. That's why comments about change and how much kennyS could change teams (because Titan hasn't the great performance yet) are pointless and ridiculous. You can't just put 5 huge skills in a team and hope for the best and change anytime a player is underperforming, HLTV should stop this with this "Qatar/Real Madrid" mentality.

this guy who died to molotov at 12-12 score lost them the game, he wanted to go back to ct spawn from connector and died because of it, he could just jump to mid and he would be alive and 3vs1 for 3dmax vs ex6, kinda sad :/
