VP tie fnatic, EnVyUs over NiP

Virtus.pro and fnatic ended up playing de_mirage in the third round of group stage play, one of both team's strongest maps, if not the strongest, and it was Virtus.pro starting off with a pistol round win combined with the first gunround.

The Poles kept racking up rounds up until round number nine, where Janusz "⁠Snax⁠" Pogorzelski helped his team win a two-on-four, but two rounds after he failed to win a one-on-one with Olof "⁠olofmeister⁠" Kajbjer for fnatic's first round at 10-1.

Four remaining rounds were exchanged evenly between the teams with fnatic switching over to the Counter-Terorrists side at 12-3. fnatic then showed us a similar performance to what we've seen from Virtus.pro in the beginning, picking up seven rounds to nil before VP managed to take their first round.

After Virtus.pro got a match point at 15-12, fnatic managed to hold on to the match in the end despite the Poles' attempts to close it, and take the game to a tie at 15-15.

NiP were up against EnVyUs on de_cache and kicked things off with a pistol round. Following anti-eco was costly for the Swedes, but another eco saw Edouard "⁠SmithZz⁠" Dubourdeaux picking up a few crucial kills for 2-1 in favor of NiP.

It was 3-3 when Patrik "⁠f0rest⁠" Lindberg got an AWP for himself and decided to stick with it at the back of A bombsite, from where he got four kills when EnVyUs decided to attack.

Despite a close start, NiP were able to overcome EnVyUs in the last few rounds for a 9-6 lead, which was when Mikail "⁠Maikelele⁠" Bill was very close to winning a one-on-three in the second pistol, had it not been for a last-second defuse.

Two more rounds by EnVyUs were soon intervened by the ASUS ROG champions, who, despite being on the less favored site, got three more rounds exchanged for only two for 13-10.

From there on it was mostly EnVyUs' show, also thanks to Vincent "⁠Happy⁠" Schopenhauer's one-on-two with a defuse for match point, the Frenchmen could celebrate when they snatched the last round at 16-13.

The last match of round three between Titan and LGB looked like another close game, since the two teams were within one round from each other after nine rounds on de_dust2.

In the end though it was Titan who scraped together a 9-6 lead going into the second half of the match, where it was nearly all a French show, since Titan closed their third match at 16-7.
