ShahZaM joins Tempo Storm

Former Cloud9 member Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan has joined Tempo Storm's roster for the CEVO S7 Professional division and the ESL ESEA Pro League.

The North American AWPer had been a free agent since being released by Cloud9 together with Kory "⁠SEMPHIS⁠" Friesen following the team's slump in form, which saw them finish in a disappointing 7th/8th place at the ESEA Finals.

After analysing his options for roughly two weeks, Shahzeb "⁠ShahZaM⁠" Khan has decided to join the ranks of Tempo Storm, who are competing in North America's most important leagues, CEVO Professional and the ESL ESEA Pro League.

ShahZaM joins Tempo Storm

This is the second roster change in less than a month for Tempo Storm, who recently made headlines when they signed longtime Luminosity member Warren "⁠hades⁠" Rettich. ShahZaM, who rose to fame with some strong individual displays while playing for LunatiK and Denial, will step into the shoes of Ricky "⁠sLip⁠" Cohen, who has already left the team's roster in both leagues.

With these changes, Tempo Storm now have:

Peter "⁠stanislaw⁠" Jarguz
Warren "⁠hades⁠" Rettich

LMFAO i played CS competitively for almost 10 years and tk's on that situation are unacceptable. there is a radar on screen whilst also his push must've been practiced in other occasions. this tk proves that shahzam is either totally unaware of what happens around him or is a really bad on processing calls during stressful rounds/moments.

If he plays like he did on denial pre-c9 then it's a good pickup. What he said about not being put in a position to succeed on c9 had some merit to it. Not a shahzam fan either, but he's right to some extent.

I'm sorry but they NEVER put him in one after how long...? 5-6 months? yeah, I call complete BS on that. And even so, he made TONS of easy mistakes that shouldn't happen (to the amount that it did) at that level. Ever. I do agree though he was much better pre-C9, albeit that was the event of his life, let's be real.

Where did I say they _never_ put him in a position to succeed? If you read what I wrote, i said "has SOME merit to it" and "right to SOME extent".. some being the keyword. Yeah, he fucked up a lot of rounds that he should've closed, but on a regular basis bad calls were made by gares (and semphis when he overruled) which didn't allow him to be an impact awper. and yeah, that lan where denial knocked out c9 was the event of his life, i agree

Looks like we'll have about 7 teams that are all roughly the same. It'll make it more competitive (which is good), but I wish we'd get at least one that's Tier 1.
