VOLGARE have issued a public apology for their comments towards Space Soldiers.

The Hungarian team stirred controversy earlier in the week after Alexander "⁠rmL⁠" Kancsev made some inflamatory comments towards Space Soldiers's players in the aftermath of a 0-2 defeat against the Turkish side in a Balkan Championship match.

The incident in question took place just 48 hours before the team parted ways with TRICKED eSports, even though it played no part in the decision of the Danish organisation, who cited "different visions" as the reason to look for a new roster to support.

FoDa & co have apologised to Space Soldiers

rmL's team, who have gone back to the name VOLGARE until a new organisation is found, have now apologised to Space Soldiers for the racists comments, which were made out of frustration for the defeat.

"First of all, I would like to make sure that everyone understands that this incident with SpaceSoldiers had nothing to do with us parting ways with tRICKED eSports," a team statement read.

"Secondly, we are very well aware that we did not use the nicest words to express our opinion regarding the match against our fellow turkish competitors. We were a bit disappointed after the match.

"We do not support racism in any way and we would like to sincerely apologise for the swearing, and are hoping that in the near future we will get a chance to equalize the score against them."

VOLGARE can be reached by interested organisations through their Facebook page or via e-mail at [email protected]. The team's lineup is the following:

That's what people said when Thorin wrote a 10,000+ word statement about his comments about Poland. No idea what the fuck more people want. Do you think VOLGARE are sorry for what they said? Are you stupid? It's not about the length of the apology, it's about whether it appears to be sincere or not. Thorin's 10k word thesis didn't appear to be sincere because he basically tried to justify what he had previously said rather than take it back. This apology doesn't appear to be sincere either because it takes them 3 whole paragraphs even to get to the actual apology. Come on man, it's not that difficult.

Maybe something along the lines of "I guess we were very frustrated. We do realize it was extremely unprofessional and an insult to this this scene.
