fnatic pull out of ESWC 2015

fnatic have cancelled their participation at ESWC 2015, the event's organisers have revealed.

The Swedish giants were due to attend the event in Montreal, where they would try to defend the title they won last year after beating LDLC, now known as EnVyUs, 2-0 in the grand final.

However, the DreamHack Open Summer champions have opted to relinquish their invite, citing a busy tournament schedule during the summer season, according to a tweet by ESWC.

fnatic will not try to defend their ESWC crown

Replacing fnatic at the Canadian event will be Titan, who were expected to take part in the French qualifier, scheduled for next week, in Jeumont.

Team SoloMid were another pre-tournament withdrawal, because of family obligations, with the Danish side's slot in the $75,000 tournament being filled by Natus Vincere.

The list of participants for ESWC 2015, taking place from July 9-12, now looks as follows:

France Titan Sweden NiP
Null element Na`Vi France EnVyUs
Brazil Keyd Stars Australia ex-Vox Eminor
United States Team Liquid South Africa Bravado Gaming
China QeeYou United States Cloud9
Europe Team Kinguin Norway LGB eSports
United States CLG France ESWC France winner
Canada ESWC Canada winner Null element ESWC CIS winner

There is no point attending a tournament when TSM isn't there. They have proven enough that they beat all the other teams, so there is no challenge for them at ESWC.

Only majors are really t1 tournaments in CS:GO right now (along with esl esea pro league finals coming up too) this was always a t2 event, still is, but barely I think.

with 4 T1 teams participating I wouldnt call this a T2 event that easily, however I do agree with the majors are the only real T1 tournaments part.

Needs more than just top teams to be called a t1 event. Needs the prestige, the prize money helps too. For example, you wouldn't call starseries finals a t1 event just because it had tsm fnatic vp and envyus there.

Why do you seem so adamant on making out that fnatic are worse than VP and TSM. EVERY comment i've seen from you is basically saying fnatic can't compete at LAN with VP & TSM. TSM/Fnatic is arguable. you can't just say TSM can beat Fnatic, they are #1. Fnatic can't LAN vs VP, VP are #2. At the end of the day Fnatic can beat every team and have a pretty good track record at the moment however TSM have been pulling out some wins as of late. Then again Titan can beat any team as well as long as they all playing on form that day, TITAN TOP1 CONFIRMED. (I added the idiotic part at the bottom, just to show you that you sound just as stupid)

VP always gets trashed by Fnatic its not even interesting to watch. You are comparing best team in the world to some Polish Team that won 3 events in their history LOL.

It's not boring, it's tiring. $30,000 even IF they win divided by 5 and org probably takes 20%+ = only $5000. Not worth jet lag and flying which both fucking suck, a cramped schedule, and spending four hours a day signing shit for annoying fans because you're contractually obligated to. $5000 is like two weeks of pay for most decently intelligent people so spending a week of your life pushing yourself when you've been pushed nonstop to make that much is just stupid.

It's HIGHLY unlikely that the org takes any of the prize money, Fnatic make all of their money from their sponsorships.

>Asia Pretty sure that they are going to get rekt (16-2; 5 max) >South America Haven't heard a lot about the second best Brazilian team, but I don't think that they would take more than 5-6 rounds. Also, SA=/=only Brazil; Never heard of any Chilean or Argentinian team, but if they would qualify, I think that they would be glad to get 2-3 rounds vs EU teams. In my opinion, that isn't very interesting, but could be beneficial to Asian/SA teams in the long run.

team is not the same what player, tard. forest was changing teams and players all the time while g5 was getting scammed by sponsors so ofc forest has more opportunities to farm money. this is a team game so look at forests teams, his teams won much less money than g5 so you ve got owned. forest won the most as player (taz and neo top3) but g5 the most as a team.

Makes sense... There's 6 weeks of time between the two 250K tournaments. And they'll probably start preparing at least 3 weeks before the second tournament. No point bothering with a 75K tournament across the world, with all the jetlag and effort involved and very little time to have a break in between.

you should not follow other games right? the csgo is monopolized in Europe, any other game is dominated by the Chinese people, they played very well the CS 1.6, are always smart and good tactics, I believe they will be the major league's surprise, and show a new tactical level,I should have put them in the top10
