Xizt leads NiP ingame again

Richard "Xizt" Landström is leading Ninjas in Pyjamas' team ingame once again, the player has revealed.

NiP have endured a slump in form in the last few months, which has seen them miss out on a place at the ESL ESEA Pro League finals, while a spot at the FACEIT League season finals is practically out of their reach.

The ESPORTSM title scooped earlier in the month against an Acer side with two stand-ins certainly offered little consolation for NiP, whose last international achievement dates back to January, when they won ASUS ROG, still before replacing Mikail "⁠Maikelele⁠" Bill with Aleksi "⁠allu⁠" Jalli.

Xizt once again calling the shots in NiP

After a semi-final exit at DreamHack Summer, it was decided that Richard "⁠Xizt⁠" Landström will once again call the shots ingame - which had been Christopher "⁠GeT_RiGhT⁠" Alesund's duty in the last month.

We ended up going 3-0 tonight, GG boys. Back to being IGL and I must say it feels fun, a well needed break was refreshing #GONINJAS

NiP will be attending Gfinity Summer Masters I this weekend, where they will have to fend off opposition from teams like EnVyUs, Virtus.pro and Cloud9 if they want to clinch the first prize of $40,000.

EnvyUs doesn't seem to have their number anymore, which is good. That pretty much just leaves FNatic as a consistent winner against them. So, this weekend, they have at least a decent shot. VP and ENvyUs expected to be their biggest competition.

The only reason they keep allu is because he is a consistent fragger and they just replaced maikelele after replacing fifflaren ... if there was a perfect option out there like adding olofmeister or jw they would do it. BOT allu is the type of player that never talks, gives no info just minds his own business. So you have to play around his position and basically everyone has to support him or he wont do anything. I think nip needs to create something really new, new playstyle, be more agressive. rush when enemy do not expect them to do it. It seems like each top team can beat them just because they know how nip plays in cluthes or 4v4 and so on.

NiP always get the special treatment, that's why they're the only team that get news on such subjects. Various teams have gone through in-game leading changes but neither got a news post about it. Same goes for the problems in NiP. There are problems in every team besides fnatic & TSM at the moment but we won't see any news about it.

That being said - a good portion of the kids in here and those that lack comprehension skill will understand this the wrong way. NiP players aren't really at fault in here for being treated as something more - lurppis and co writting the articles are in fault for implying that to people. And I agree that f0rest and GTR are two of the greatest players ever, if not the greatest but this place should be cut from bias and should treat everyone accordingly in. We all know NiP is the leading CS brand, legendary teams, players, larger than life personalities etc. However we never saw such a news-post when C9, the leading NA team were a laughing stock. We didn't see a news-post with suggestions and opinions on the matter. The problems for example in the French scene - Titan/nV are way more interesting to me than the ones in NiP. Same goes for Navi and HR. What's the issues in all of those team and how could they overcome them to be something more than they're currently? Are we gonna see any of the team I mentioned get the same treatment in here or at least half of it?

NIP hasn't been the leading CS brand for at least 6 months possibly a year. Look at fnatics achievements, TSM's spectacular rise etc... Anyone who follows the scene and isn't biased knows that NIP = just another top5 team now.
