Gfinity Summer Masters I groups

Groups for Gfinity Summer Masters I have been revealed, while mousesports have been chosen as the last invited team for the event kicking off in just under three days.

Gfinity's announcement yesterday was missing a piece in the form of the eighth name taking part in the Summer Masters I tournament, which runs from June 26-28.

It's been announced that Chris "⁠chrisJ⁠" de Jong's mousesports would be joining the likes of NiP and EnVyUs in the Gfinity Arena in London, United Kingdom, to fight for the $80,000 prizepot.

GeT_RiGhT's NiP are looking to improve on their track record

At the same time, groups were revealed as well, as we can see NiP joined by Titan, dignitas and SK Gaming in group A, while group B features EnVyUs, Virtus.pro, mousesports and Cloud9.

The group stage will once again be played in a GSL format with the top two sides advancing to best-of-three semi-finals, presumably followed by a best-of-five grand final.

As Gfinity follows the official PEGI age rating, you can only attend the event in person if you're at least 18 years old. To purchase tickets, head over to the Gfinity website.

Yeah, getting to double digits against either Envy or Vp would be great. II would give them better xhances in the other group, ona better day they could upset dignitas and Titan. But if they don't beat mouz it will be a huge dissapointment.

That group B is just ridiculous... Mousesports have been improving A LOT lately. In my opinion they would go through from group A (if it was Mousesports in stead of SK or Dignitas). Cloud9 will also have a huge task to get through this group. I can actually see them finishing last in this group.

To be honest, C9 probably isn't the worst team at this event. Unfortunately, SK is in the other group and mouse has been looking better recently, but you can never really tell because of OnlineJ. I hope C9 can make it interesting, but they're probably gonna lose every map
