Cold set to join ex-Keyd Stars

Dexterity talent Marcelo "Cold" David has revealed that he will join the former Keyd Stars team.

The Brazilian giants are one-man short after parting ways with Caio "⁠zqkS⁠" Fonseca, who had come under fire as a result of some lacklustre performances in recent events.

The announcement that the team were on the look-out for a new player came at the same time as they bid farewell to Keyd Stars, the organisation they had represented since leaving KaBuM, in February.

It has now been revealed that the final position on the team will be filled by Dexterity's Marcelo "⁠coldzera⁠" David, an up-and-coming talent who raised eyebrows during the South American qualifiers for the World Championships.

"I am proud of myself because I am reaping what I once sowed, I am confident I will help the team to win many things," he told r1se.com.br.

"I will not feel pressure because my only thought is to guide my team to victory, so I can guarantee that I will not feel pressure.

"I want to win everything and I will be 100 per cent focused on making my team the best.

"I will put college on hold to pursue my dream. My parents took it well."

The Brazilian team, who will attend ESL One Cologne next month, now have:

as long as they dont lose fer. Fallen is ok, they can replace the 3 others as much as they want.

Cold is a excellent player! He played very good on Dexterity (second best team BR and best team of South America without ex-keyd). Cold and Fer will make the best duo of NA.

Steel is a great player, I dont see reason to kick. He's also team's lurker, Taco is entry fragger and felps a mid-round player. Ex-keyd have fer and boltz for entrys, cold will be the mid-round player, steel in same function (lurker) and fallen now the awper and igl.

He used to be assault and second awper at DeX. But he definitely plays great on both roles. He can main awp easily, but I think Fallen will be the main awper and Cold second.
