Maikelele leaps to fox's defence

The Portuguese veteran has been the target of much criticism since the creation of Team Kinguin, one of the most ambitious projects in the history of Counter-Strike, with star players representing four different nations.

Created just three months ago, Kinguin no longer feature their original roster, with Alexander "⁠SKYTTEN⁠" Carlsson having made way for Dennis "⁠dennis⁠" Edman following some mixed initial results.

With dennis on the roster, Kinguin are finally starting to live up to the hype, and in the next few weeks they will be competing at ESL One Cologne, in PGL Season 1 and in CEVO Professional.

And despite all the criticism targeted at Ricardo "⁠fox⁠" Pacheco, Mikail "⁠Maikelele⁠" Bill maintains that the Portuguese player is an invaluable member of the squad.

"I do not get why people are sh*t talking my teammate Ricardo "fox" Pacheco," Bill wrote on Facebook.

"It's like when fREAKAZOID from Cloud9 is playing and having bad stats, and everyone says that it is because he is the entry fragger.

"He [fREAKAZOID] is a really consistent player who does everything for his teammates, just like fox. If I ask him to drop his AK or his Glock to me or whatever, he is going to run across the map just to do it.

"He does everything for the team and he is the perfect fit for the team."

Team Kinguin have been paired alongside EnVyUs, Luminosity and FlipSid3 Tactics for the ESL One Cologne group stage and will take on the Brazilian side, formerly known as Keyd Stars, in the first round.
