LunatiK acquire stanislaw
Former Tempo Storm player Peter "stanislaw" Stanislaw has been acquired by LunatiK, a team which will play in the North American ESL ESEA Pro League.
The organisation Tempo Storm dropped its CS:GO roster following players wanting to take part in different projects during North America's off-season shuffle.
With Daniel "roca" Gustaferri and Timothy "autimatic" Ta heading the way of Maximum Effort, and the team's other two players linked with a new "Sponsorless" roster, the sole player left out in the cold was Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz.
stanislaw has however been spotted playing in recent CEVO-P Season 8 matches on LunatiK's roster, a team which includes players such as Mitch "DUM0RE" Green. stanislaw was at the time cited as standing in for Terrence "Tvu" Vu.
stanislaw was part of the Tempo Storm lineup at CEVO-P Season 7 finals
The team have now officially announced the acquisition of stanislaw, with Tvu instead taking on the back-up role on the roster.
The addition comes in time ahead of ESL ESEA Pro League Season 2, which LunatiK automatically qualified for via winning ESEA Premier (thereby replacing Season 1's lowest ranked team, ACE Gaming).
In a statement to the organisation, stanislaw mentioned the move,
"I'm excited to join LunatiK. I can't wait to start developing as a team and competing at the highest level once again."
Team captain Ahsan "draek" Ismailzadah added comments on the addition:
"We are very excited to announce our latest pick up in stanislaw; After much deliberation on how to bring the team to the next level, we felt Peter has the experience and leadership to help us reach our goals. He brings a different view to the team, and has already made his presence known in the past week. We are anxious to see what the future holds.
Lastly, I'd like to give a shoutout to our player tvu who is now taking on the back up role. He has done a tremendous job for us and played a key role in winning this season's ESEA Premier title. We look forward to some good results with a busy schedule planned ahead, and would like to thank all of our fans and friends for the support!"
