Conquest sign Sponsorless

North American team Sponsorless, which features a combination of players from previous Tempo Storm and eLevate lineups, has been oficially picked up by Conquest.

A wave of successive team shuffling which took place in the North American scene in the middle of August saw the core of a dropped Tempo Storm lineup join forces with three ex-eLevate players, with the team going under the name "Sponsorless."

The team are taking part in CEVO-P Season 8 and sit near the top of the standings with two wins and four ties in the league.

The former Tempo Storm core of Shahzeb "⁠ShahZaM⁠" Khan and Ronnie "⁠ryx⁠" Bylicki have also carried over the team's spot in the ESL ESEA Pro League, and thus Sponsorless will be taking part in the highest division of ESEA's leagues.

ShahZaM and Sponsorless are picked up by Team Conquest

The team have received a boost ahead of their campaign to begin the second season of the ESL ESEA Pro League via being signed by Conquest, a new organisation that is looking to make a foray into the CS:GO scene.

Yeah sorry not everyone thinks that way. Europeans are currently experiencing what we have for a while. A large influx of immigrants seeking refuge in our country. It's more of a problem in terms of how to deal with them economically.

10:12 still, on lan they they were so close to beating navi as a fairly new team with no lan experience whatsoever and had rly great potential for being a top team.

So 2 players from ex- Tempo Storm get to keep the TS spot from ESEA-ESL Pro-league? i thought the rule was it had to be a "core of 3 players"

I think because 2 TS players went to ex-nihilum (now col.), and stanislaw went to lunatik (now orgless), it was shahzam and ryx who carried on that TS slot I could be wrong though

oh okay, that sort of clears it up regarding the other players, but being a rengades fan (obviously) it pisses me off that ESEA-ESL don't adhere to their own rules...

ESEA's rules state that a team has to have 2 players from the previous season who played in at least 60% of the matches. ESEA is following their own rules, I also would like to see Renegades in NA but this roster followed the rules to keep their spot and I can understand why a team would be pissed off if they qualified fairly by playing up through the divisions and Renegades just gets to move to NA and take their spot.

Im positive it was 3 players - 60% of the previous seasons squad had to be present in a team for it to be included in the season under a new org. Did they change it this upcoming season?

3 players are ex-Elevate so they took Elevate's roster technically. Meaning two members from the Elevate roster left and joined another team and the ex-Tempo guys joined that roster. However the org did not stick with the Invite roster and is currently sponsoring a team in Premier.

6000 followers on twitter... definitely expected a bigger org. hopefully they can support them with the proper things they deserve as a team with pretty solid potential. I doubt they'll ever be the best in America but they can definitely compete for playoff spots, etc.
