The next two teams for the Intel Extreme Masters stop in San Jose, California have been made known: Cloud9 and Luminosity.

ESL announced TSM and EnVyUs as the first two teams to attend IEM San Jose, a $100,000, eight team tournament running from November 21-22 in San Jose, California.

Taking place inside the SAP Center Arena, IEM San Jose will be CS:GO's second stop on the IEM circuit, after IEM Gamescom back in August.

Luminosity join Cloud9 as North American competitors at IEM San Jose

The next two teams to attend the event have been announced by ESL: Cloud9 and Luminosity. Described alternatively as "two top North American teams" and as clinching "top spots in the ESL ESEA Pro League," these two teams will represent North America at an event taking place in said continent.

brazil's education is a joke , any dog can go to university and get a degree , i will call it ' degri '. If you r black , you minimal score needed on the test to join the university is way lower. Also , people who recently left universitys , actually defend the current goverment. The woman did not declare some money that was used in the last year... just the amount of 2.300.000.000.000 , ONLY IN 2014. The same people who took her and her mate Lula to that place , which are succeeding to implement comunism here , and make the populition turn against theirselves , do not deserve any degree , if people with degrees , even those who deal with money , blame the " world crisis " which only affects brazil , to justify the massive amount of people getting sacked ( 160k only in june ). This logic is flawed so many differnt levels. By this logic LG is better than kinguin, becouse they only have 1 legendary spot. Liquid has been strong recently, it would be a great match, but that logic is just useless.

I don't know if there's a clear cut second choice among CLG, Liquid, and LG. People shit on Liquid for being onliners, but it's not like LG/Keyd have won a meaningful Bo3 on LAN yet either (they've only shown one map upset potential and have benefited greatly from it) nor is LG a clear-cut favorite from their online-play. CLG, however, have been struggling pretty bad in their recent online leagues (losing to coL in ESEA, and probably missing out on the CEVO lan). You could make an argument for all three, I guess. I'd probably favour CLG since they crushed LG at the WinOut LAN though and also beat them at the last Pro League lan.

Finnaly some Lan tournament, im sick about online matches, and i telling it cause i play online and on lan, theres no comparison, at lan u got nervous easily and start to shake little bit, so if u're far behind on the score it make ur moral got low and ur team dosen't performance well, its different and hard as shit. if we see the records, LG arealdy beat TSM in a BO1, took a mapa agains't Fnatic at Clutcon, took a mapa agains't VP at Katowice quarter-finals, beated Dignitas at Apex, Mouz and an OP agains't NV at Cologne, also if LG have won a single pistol agains't Fnatic they probably coulded take Mirage at quarter in Cologne aswell. The next map will be Cache and they had 100% of winnings (in scrims at least) beating TSM, NIP and other. Now, shom me some Liquid Data at lan.

Liquid is a brand new Top Team, this is liquid 1 Major they will sure do some damage, I can say that cause I think that they did amazing on PGL Final took a map off Fnatic losing to a close game against VP, but you Brazilian need to take the fact that LG have been on a slump after that major, Liquid need to prove them self and will prove them self on this major

The only EU teams that need to be invited to this event are the same 4...maybe 5 if you have sympathy for NIP. the rest should be NA teams like Liquid and CLG because these guys are literally no different from Titan/G2/Mous/Dig etc.

I think it would make more sense to have 4 NA teams and 4 EU since: A. The tournament doesn't have to accommodate expensive flights from Europe to the West coast of America and it will just be easiar to bring the top NA teams. B. Just inviting Envy,TSM,Fnatic,VP will get you all the viewers you need from Europe since these are the only relevant EU teams. If you guys have sympathy maybe NIP can take a spot since they have a big fanbase.
