aizy: "Deserve the chance on G2"

HLTV.org spoke with G2's newly signed Philip 'aizy' Aistrup who joined the team from dignitas and just featured in his offline debut for his new team.

Philip "⁠aizy⁠" Aistrup was last in an offline setting with dignitas earlier this month at the CEVO Season 8 finals, where the player posted remarkable statistics despite his team ultimately failing to advance to the semifinals.

Such a showing gave aizy a second chance to join G2 (as he revealed to us in his interview that he had been tried out previously) and online results seemed promising.

aizy spoke to us about communication on G2, about his joining the team, and about his overall thoughts against the 2-0 victory over CLG.

We also would like to apologize for audio issues which begin around the halfway point in this interview. Our XLR cord has since been replaced as the previous one began to fail.

It is very common that danish men have deep voices. When i go to southern europe i think people speak very high-pitched.
