GMX announces retirement
Former Epsilon and melty member Robin "GMX" Stahmer has announced via Twitter that has put down his mouse and keyboard with immediate effect.
The decision comes in the aftermath of Valve's announcement that the bans issued to players who took part in match-fixing - a group in which Robin "GMX" Stahmer is included - are permanent.
The 22-year-old had returned to action in September, almost eight months after revealing that he and three former Epsilon teammates of his had deliberately lost an ESEA Invite match against OverGaming to make a profit on CSGOLounge.

GMX will retire from gaming
The whistleblowing situation resulted in bans being issued to these four players, who believed that their cases would be reviewed by Valve in 2016.
I'm done with csgo, good luck to my ex team mates with their new adventures, was fun playing again tho:D! @meltyALEX @LambertCSGO @mistoucsgo

But with Valve announcing that match-fixing bans will never be lifted, GMX has now decided to quit gaming for good. Joey "fxy0" Schlosser, who currently plays for Millenium, has not yet stated whether he will remain active after this setback.
The former melty squad now have:
Lambert "Lambert" Prigent
Valentin "mistou" Balbastro
Alex "ALEX" McMeekin
Mathieu "LaAw" Plantin
Valentin 'mistou' Balbastro
Lambert 'Lambert' Prigent
