PENTA Sports have announced that they have completed their roster with the permanent additions of David "Davidp" Prince and Mike "mikeS" Tuns.

The German team had been on the lookout for two new players since the start of the month following the departures of Timo "⁠Spiidi⁠" Richter, who returned to mousesports, and Hendrik "⁠strux1⁠" Goetzendorff, who decided to take a break from gaming.

It quickly became evident that PENTA were toying with the idea of signing players from outside Germany as the team tried out two well-known figures in the Benelux scene - Mike "⁠mikeS⁠" Tuns, who has played for teams like fm-eSports and Team Orbit, and David "⁠Davidp⁠" Prins, formerly of Deadpixels.

During their trial period, the duo helped PENTA to qualify for the European Minor Championship, and the German organisation have now rewarded the players for their efforts by offering them permanent spots on the team.

"After playing together for a while we decided to go ahead and play as a 5," Tuns told PENTA's website.

"I have played in a couple of teams before but this time I hope that we can achieve great things with this line-up!

"We will work hard and do our best for the upcoming minor in Bucharest and other events to come!"

PENTA Sports, who have been drawn in Group A for the European Minor, alongside CG, E-frag.net and LDLC White, now have:

ye? i played against him several times in prague when he still was a noname kid and its true. he feels super uncomfortable on lan, he breaks down under pressure. if you want to read numbers, go look up his lan rating on hltv. btw. hellraisers didnt attend ONE lan since he joined. im wondering whats going on..

I honestly think people make too much of a deal out of LANs. Personally I played better than online, almost zero ping plus 128 tick makes it really nice. The only problem is the noise which might make you not hear some footsteps ingame. But I had much better headphones on my second LAN so even that wasn't really an issue anymore(Hyper x cloud rules :D). I imagine young people with low confidence might have problem with the crowd although I don't see why they should be ashamed of anything, everyone is there to enjoy games and some of my teammates actually didn't perform up to expectations from their online play.
