CLG defeated SK 16-13 on de_overpass, moving on to the decider match in Columbus and eliminating the Danes.

The Danish and the American sides faced elimination at MLG Columbus 2016 Main Qualifier after losing their opening matches in upsets when SK fell to Vexed 9-16 and CLG bent the knee to their NA brethren Splyce. Tarik "⁠tarik⁠" Celik’s triple opening kill in the pistol round got his CT-sided team off to a good start as they went on to win the first six rounds.

The Danish team's first round came at the seventh but CLG, unfazed, kept their form and extended their lead to 9-1. Stephen "⁠reltuC⁠" Cutler's ace marked his squad's eleventh round. Thanks to the quad-kill by Andreas "⁠MODDII⁠" Fridh SK got three rounds in the first half.

Michael "⁠Friis⁠" Jørgensen & co. started the second half much better, securing the pistol round and stopping an early buy of CLG (12-6). After this point, the teams exhanged a couple of rounds. Despite their lackluster start, the Danes reached to the double-digits with Emil "⁠Magisk⁠" Reif and Jacob "⁠Pimp⁠" Winneche helping their team's comeback effort. 

SK got to thirteen rounds but reltuC's 1v2 to prevent the defuse earned CLG a match point. tarik capitalized on the advantage and finished it off 16-13.

SK will be going out after two matches, CLG, on the other hand, will face the loser of the match between Vexed vs. Splyce in a best-of-three to qualify.

He has played much harder matches on LAN than online, so that in it self makes sense. He is also a young and newer player, which means he doesn't come with too much experience and everyone knows that LAN experiences is needed for performing well. He generally plays very hectic/stressed as does many of the young new danish talent and will have to learn to calm down ingame.
