LDLC confirm new team

LDLC.com have confirmed on their website the creation of a new Counter-Strike team, led by Belgian veteran Kévin "Ex6TenZ" Droolans.

LDLC were looking for new opportunities in the Counter-Strike scene after parting ways with both White and Blue rosters in the aftermath of the departures of Timothée "⁠DEVIL⁠" Démolon and Alexandre "⁠bodyy⁠" Pianaro to EnVyUs and G2, respectively.

As reported last week by French website vakarm.net, LDLC's new squad will be led by Kévin "⁠Ex6TenZ⁠" Droolans, who was assessing his options after being left out of G2's active lineup.

Ex6TenZ to lead the new LDLC roster

Joining the Belgian veteran are two ex-members of LDLC White, Antoine "⁠to1nou⁠" Pirard and Matthieu "⁠matHEND⁠" Roquigny, plus one former member of the Blue squad, Charbel "⁠BouLy⁠" Naoum. Completing the roster will be Alex "⁠ALEX⁠" McMeekin, who has played for teams like webSPELL, melty and Platinium in the past.

"Here I am, involved in a new project : moving from top to subtop and joining four young and talented players in LDLC," Droolans said in a statement.

"It is a big challenge, and I do not know what is going to happen. Even if getting kicked is never good news, I think I needed something different at this point in my career.

"I always enjoyed playing with young players. Usually, it was one or two, but today it is four!

"It is a big challenge, the unknown, but one thing will never change: I will give my best for the team."

LDLC, who will be competing this weekend in the second online pre-qualifier for the European Minor Championship, at DreamHack Tours, now have:
