NiP defeat Epsilon at DH Summer

DreamHack ZOWIE Open Summer continued with an all-Swedish derby between Ninjas in Pyjamas and Epsilon on Cache. The match began with Jerry "⁠xelos⁠" Råberg going huge in the pistol round as he picked up three frags in squeaky to give his team an early lead.

After giving up two eco rounds, NiP came back in the first gun round after stopping Epsilon's B execute, with Christopher "⁠GeT_RiGhT⁠" Alesund following it up with back-to-back triple kills inside A to equalise the score at 3-3.

NiP continued to grind out rounds and eventually brought the scoreline to 8-3, forcing Epsilon to call a timeout. The move bore immediate fruits as Epsilon got a fourth round on the board with a B execute, but NiP quickly regained control of the game and closed out the half with an 11-4 lead.

Epsilon got off to a great start on the CT side and won five of the first six rounds to cut the gap to three rounds and put pressure on NiP. However, their comeback hopes would soon be crushed as NiP took four rounds in a row to secure a 16-9 finish.
