fnatic became the fourth semi-finalists following a clear-cut 2-0 victory over Gambit, who only strung together eight rounds over the course of two maps.

We got in touch with Robin "⁠flusha⁠" Rönnquist, who shed some light on why the series was this one-sided and how confident the team feels prior to facing Liquid in the semi-finals.

It seems like you're gaining your confidence back with these two dominating wins, how are you feeling after facing Gambit?

Honestly, we expected more of a match, we could do whatever we wanted, I didn't even have to call. It wasn't a hard match and it didn't feel like a Major quarter-finals.

The way that I portrayed your confidence was your 5-AWP buy, who called it?

I don't know, JW maybe? Everyone was like, yeah, I'll buy an AWP. 

Did you expect it to work?

Yeah, honestly, they didn't really kill us. There was only AdreN that was killing us and he was doing like 2/3-kill rounds, and other than that they didn't really put up a fight.

Liquid are up ahead in the semi-finals, did you expect them to have a chance against Na`Vi?

Yeah, definitely, I thought they had a chance. Na`Vi crumbled on Cobble, I don't know why, I didn't see Liquid doing anything special on that map. I think it was like a 60-40 match in favor of Na`Vi, but I'm fine with having Liquid as an opponent.

Liquid said their practice results with you were one-sided, it's just practice obviously, but how do you feel about the match-up?

I think it's a great match-up for us. I think they will get some mental problems against us, knowing we are the best team, or we were the best team. I still think we are the best team right now, but... yeah, if we get to a good start tomorrow, we're gonna wreck them 2-0 easily.
