Schedule for EL playoffs released

Turner Sports and WME | IMG have released the schedule for the quarter-finals of the first season of ELEAGUE.

Starting on Thursday, July 21, the ELEAGUE playoffs will see eight teams compete in a single-elimination, best-of-three bracket for the lion's share of the tournament's $1.4 million prize fund.

The six group winners plus the two teams who advanced from the last-chance qualifier, Virtus.pro and mousesports, will fight for spots at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, the venue that will host the semi-finals and the grand final, on July 29-30.

Friday's match between Virtus.pro and NiP will air on TBS

The ELEAGUE playoffs will begin with a clash between EnVyUs and fnatic, with the match between Virtus.pro and Ninjas in Pyjamas being the only one that TBS will broadcast, on Friday evening.

Below you can find the schedule for the quarter-finals of the ELEAGUE playoffs:

Thursday, July 21
20:00 France Envy vs. Sweden fnatic
23:00 World Natus Vincere vs. United States Cloud9
Friday, July 22
23:00 Denmark Astralis vs. Germany MOUZ
04:00 Poland Virtus.pro vs. Sweden Ninjas in Pyjamas

Why do you have to make it personal? But okay, I'll bite. First off: For me it would be 2AM, as we are 1 hour ahead of the UK. Secondly, I can't speak for you of course but I usually don't sit on my computer to watch Twitch at 2AM on a Friday night. There are other, a lot more fun, things to do on a Friday night.

Go out? Spend time with the missus? What else would someone be doing at 2AM on a Friday night? Besides watching CS:GO on Twitch apparently.

Of course I could, but why should/would I? Besides, that was not the point now was it? The point was that 2AM, or in the UK 1AM, is not an "okay-ish" time for a CS:GO match on Twitch in my opinion. He then asked whether I'm 70, because apparently not watching a CS:GO match on Twitch at 1AM makes someone 70?

You should because its a classic matchup on LAN. Shouldnt you be more busy in the middle of the day or in the evening in the summer?

I do programming work during the day. But what does that have to do with how I spend my Friday nights? :P VP - NiP is 4AM now apparently. I thought it said 2AM before? There is no way I'm going to watch CS:GO at 4AM, no matter what teams are playing.

It's still nothing to bitch about. Those of us outside Europe are constantly having to either rewatch majors or watch them at like 2-6am. But every time there's a match in the US all you whiny bitches come out of the woodwork.

It... literally makes perfect sense. Deal with it like the rest of us. This is a global game and someone is always going to be put out. There is no perfect time to play them where everyone is going to be happy. To summarize: quityerbitchin

No, it really does not make sense. Because anyone should be able to bitch about hours, whether they be from EU, NA or Asia. To summarize: don't be a totalitarian yahoo and let me bitch all I want.

Ever heard of work? Thursday and Friday I have 2 days off this week, but that is quite unusual. I have to get up at 5 or 6 am most of the time for work, so I most likely wouldn't even watch the first match.

I'm not expecting much from them, their recent performance has been really bad, there is no denying that. They aren't TSM anymore. What I meant by "I've been waiting for this" is that I like watching them play and I've been looking forward to this tournament to continue.
