VG.CyberZen defeated Virtus.pro 16-7 on Mirage in the Group D opening match at the SL i-League StarSeries Season 2 Finals.

Virtus.pro met VG.CyberZen in the second opening match of Group D in Kiev, Ukraine to determine who would advance to the winners' match against Cloud9 and who would go on to face elimination against Envy.

BingYuan "⁠tb⁠" Li and Zhuo "⁠advent⁠" Liang opened Mirage with a 2vs3 pistol round win and the T-sided Chinese team extended their lead to 4-0 after advent showed up once again, this time in a 1vs2 situation. Virtus.pro were trailing 1-7 in the first stages of the half but salvaged to situation to trail 7-8 at halftime.

The Chinese teams continue to impress in Ukraine

VG.CyberZen gave away the bomb plant and the first kill of the second half pistol round but had a successful retake to make it 9-7. KunHua "⁠LOVEYY⁠" Bai's 1vs1 clutch against Filip "⁠NEO⁠" Kubski in VP's gun round put the Chinese team in a really good spot to win the map (11-7).

VG.CyberZen's 3vs5 retake which extended their lead to 13-7 was the breaking point in the match as tb & company went on to win the match 16-7 after WeiJie "⁠zhokiNg⁠" Zhong's ace to end the map.

That was Tyloo, not Cyberzen. Everyone knew Tyloo had upset potential, however given the fact that Tyloo usually destroys Cyberzen, most people were skeptical as to whether or not CyberZen could put up similar results.

Virtus isnt random polish team. They arent as bad as you say, otherwise they wouldnt be better than nV, C9 and other teams. There has to be reason why they almost won SK in major and won eLeague. in order to play the pro league you have to deliver results online.. vp didnt and therefor they dont deserve the pro league spot... lets just close all online qualifiers cuz online doesnt matter.. it does, other teams work hard to get to pro league (godsent as example are playing the premier div). but no worries vp ! esl has the slot reserved for you!

ESL needs to take one of NA's PL Finals spots, and run an Asian League for the last it.

There are tons of vidoes, youtubes, twitches, povs/demos of VP. How many of those are for VG.CyberZen? Now you know why VG had upper hand over VP. (the same applies to NaVi defeat) I would not worry. Once Asian teams` povs/demos are more available their strats will be revealed and easier to beat.

They won everything what is presented in-front of them. Granted that isn't the full story, but you can't help but be amazed at their success. Either way, these teams beat Navi and VP on LAN, something many NA and EU teams can't say. It wasn't a fluke either, they utterly dominated them in aim/teamplay.
