Astralis to the playoffs over Tyloo

Astralis eliminated Tyloo from StarSeries with a 2-1 score (Train 16-7, Overpass 10-16, Mirage 16-12) and qualified for the playoffs after a thrilling best-of-three group C decider match.

The series kicked off with TYLOO's pick - Train. HaoWen "somebody" Xu started the map with his second ace of this tournament, killing all five Astralis players while charging into the B site at the helm of his team. After the pistol, TYLOO secured the following rounds to get a 3-0 lead as Terrorists.

Astralis got a few rounds on the board before Ke "captainMo" Liu's team got their fourth round of the match to make it 4-2. At this point, it seemed that the Chinese team might have a serious chance to take their map pick, but it all went downhill from this point onwards.

TYLOO tried to do a few executes on the A site that proved unsuccessful, with a repeatedly failed smoke from the Terrorists helping Astralis in holding the site.

At 5-4 for Astralis the Chinese team tried to change their focus to B, but the play was read by the Danes who already had three players stacked in the bomb site.

Mo was one of the standout players for Tyloo

The rest of the terrorist side looked bleak for TYLOO, with captainMo getting kills with the AWP but the rest of the team not being able to capitalize on the openings, and the duo of Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye and Nicolai "device" Reedtz racking up kills on the Counter-Terrorist side to end the half 11-4.

After the switch, Astralis took the pistol round and the following two to effectively close out the map 16-7.

Coming into Overpass, Astralis's pick, it was Kjaerbye to secure the pistol round with four kills and set his team up for a 3-0 lead. TYLOO replied with a win in the first gun round, but was instantly reset in the next and put in a rough economic position.

Finn "karrigan" Andersen's team cruised to a 7-1 lead before TYLOO managed to adapt and pull themselves back to a 8-7 halftime score in favor of Astralis.

Astralis managed to qualify for the playoffs after a tough matches versus Tyloo

TYLOO had a great start to their T side, getting to a 12-8 lead before the teams started trading round for round. In one of the crucial rounds, Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen managed a double kill and smoke-defuse to get his team to 10-13, but TYLOO won the war of attrition in the end and closed out the match 16-10.

The decider map was Mirage, where TYLOO had a great performance versus Natus Vincere yesterday. Astralis won the pistol round, lost against a force-buy B site push, but managed to win the following round with a force-buy of their own.

Even though they had a rough start, TYLOO came back and finished the half with a 9-6 lead as Terrorists.

The Danes replied on their T side, winning seven straight rounds after the swap, including a magical device ace clutch in the 21st round. After a few hard fought rounds Astralis managed to close out the map 16-12 and the series 2-1 in the end.

Their aim is fine (and only attacker has high sens). They're already a highly skilled team with each one of them capable of carrying in a given match. Fancy who is a star player normally, needs to step up in these international LANs. If he performed internationally like he does locally, Tyloo would be tier 1 easily, I'd bet on it.
