Cloud9 overcomes FaZe in Romania

As both teams are known for their loose and aim-based playstyle, the matchup was looking to a be a straight up gunshow, and the duel was set to go down on Train.

And indeed the teams went blow for blow in the first half, with the Americans rolling out on CT-side first, their pistol win being worthless, as the European mercenaries won a force buy in the second round and took the lead early.

Generally speaking a majority of rounds went close for both teams, two man defuses, 1v1 clutches and more. Even the anti-ecos were doing a lot of damage to the superior weapons, constantly keeping the economy on the edge.

It seemed like both teams had done their homework, constantly making small adjustsments to one another, no round going the same way. Null element in particular, once again stepped up to lead in the fragging department, leading to a 9-6 half in favor of his team.

Cloud9 took another pistol round on their T-side, and this time they did not yield, taking five rounds in a row, moving to a 14-6 scoreline, before Philip "⁠aizy⁠" Aistrup and Co. took back two defuses in a row, but being very close, the money was reset soon after, as the in-form Americans answerred back, moving to match point.

aizy almost pulled off a godlike 1v3 clutch, sneaking backwards in through A-main with a Five-Seven, but Skadoodle came out on top in the 1v1, closing out the map 16-8.
