Canada to replace USA at TWC
E-frag announced that Team USA will not be attending The World Championships 2016 and will be replaced by Canada, who finished second in the North American qualifier.
The decision comes as a result of Team USA not submitting a lineup within the expected timeframe, the organizer states, and is the second announcement of this type after Singapore replaced China earlier this month.
As The United States of America will not have a team at the tournament, Team Canada, who finished second to them in the qualifier, will get USA's spot at the LAN that will take place in Belgrade, Serbia.

Semphis played for Canada at last year's edition of TWC
The roster of Team Canada is yet unknown, but last year's line-up featured players such as Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen, Damian "daps" Steele and Keith "NAF" Markovic that ended up 5-8th after a 2-0 defeat to Sweden.
The World Championships 2016 will take place on October 5-9 and will feature a $100.000 prize pool. Five teams that will compete at the tournament have already been found, with the remaining three spots to be filled through the European Qualifier.
