iBP Masters teams revealed

iBUYPOWER has unveiled the full team list for its upcoming Masters event, in California.

From November 12-13, iBUYPOWER will host at The Hangar, located at the Orange County Fairgrounds, an eight-team CS:GO tournament with $100,000 on offer.

Through a partnership with ESL, the iBUYPOWER Masters will see the top four team earn spots at IEM Oakland, a $300,000 competition that will be held the following weekend at the Oracle Arena.

TyLoo to compete at iBP Masters

The biggest talking point about the list of participants for the iBP event is the presence of three teams who do not hail from the Americas: TyLoo, who have just secured a one-year, multi-entry Schengen visa, and European duo GODSENT and FaZe.

iBP Masters will begin with a double-elimination group stage, with the top two teams securing spots at IEM Oakland. The grand prize will then be contested in the final, featuring the two group winners.

It's not the longest of shots, but I would never characterize their chances as "fairly easy". 4 members of GODSENT formed the core of what won them 3 Majors. The difference between Immortals and C9 can be split by a hair (Immortals beat them the last time), Faze can be great or bad (so depends on who shows up), and Renegades are just a bit behind. I think it's reasonable to think they are favored to get one of the two spots, but I'm not at all thinking it's assured.

I would normally agree looking at the players in GODSENT, but their results have been pretty shit. I think C9 and Immortals take the top 2 spots unless they are put on the same side of the bracket.

I hope for TyLoo , Immortals , GODSENT and Echo Fox to qualify but we will see
