Maikelele extends his stay in NiP

Maikelele revealed via Twitter that his stay in Ninjas in Pyjamas will be extended, as he will travel to three upcoming events with the Swedish team.

Ninjas in Pyjamas have been without Jacob "⁠pyth⁠" Mourujärvi due to his hand injury since the Cologne Major, using Joakim "⁠disco doplan⁠" Gidetun for a short period before switching to their old fifth - Mikail "⁠Maikelele⁠" Bill.

With Maikelele, the Ninjas managed to win their second tournament of the year - StarSeries Season 2, and have been playing solid online.

Maikelele has been a solid stand-in for NiP so far

Via his twitter, Maikelele confirmed that he will be traveling with the team to three more events: EPICENTER: Moscow, ESL Pro League Season 4, and ELEAGUE, that will take place in the coming month.

But he really doesnt fit the team. They need a main AWP so forest can go back to riffling, and only AWP whenever he feels to. Since pyth is a "secondary" AWP type, and not a good one, all he does is drag f0rest down with him. With Maikelelelelelele f0rest can play just like he wants and feels like on that given day - making them much more unpredictable.

Yes pyth can both play awp and riffle. The problem is, he is not really good at either. If they have maikelele as main awp, (who is a much better awper than pyth) f0rest will be able to riffle mostly, and only pick up the awp when they want a double awp setup, or he is just really feeling it. With pyth, f0rest may feel like riffling, but because there is only a 20% chance that pyth will do good with the awp, chances are f0rest would have to take over the AWP, even though he is rocking the riffles in that particular game.
