EPICENTER groups announced

Groups for EPICENTER: Moscow have been drawn, with the eight attending teams being split into two four-team groups. The tournament will take place over the course of a whole week - from October 17-23.

With six of the eight teams attending the tournament currently in the top 10 of the HLTV Team Rankings and a $500,000 prize purse to boot, EPICENTER: Moscow promises to bring some high-level Counter-Strike and continue on the storylines of ESL One New York.

Natus Vincere will be fighting for another title, this time on home soil

EPICENTER: Moscow will feature two groups that will be played in a best-of-two round-robin system. The best team from each group will advance to the semi-finals, while the second and third best team will start the playoffs in the quarter-final.

The groups at EPICENTER: Moscow are be as follows:

Ninjas in Pyjamas	SK
Natus Vincere	fnatic
Dignitas	HellRaisers

Even though the tournament takes place over a whole week, the group stage will be played from Monday to Wednesday, with each team playing one match per day. After that, a two-day pause will take place.

The playoffs will resume on Saturday with the quarter-finals, while the semi-finals and grand final will take place on Sunday.

October 19th - Group Stage Day 3

Fnatic better than NiP? They have only beaten them online, if you want to go by online results, then VP is far from the best team lol NaVi, NiP, G2 and to some extent Dignitas are all potential winners at pretty much any tournament. In group A, it's only VP and SK. Group A is harder than group B

lol G2 can fo sure win against SK too, even Astralis have won against SK in groups. We saw that before. But no, they get new fnatic and hellraisers lol. they suck if they dont go through groups.

yeah you never know when G2 will play good or not, but when they do they really play well too. because i believe fnatic and hellraisers have more of an upset chance especially vs VP. Group B also have the likes of SK so it would be harder as 3 teams are fighting over 1 spot in peoples minds. but do please explain how its easier, make sure to cite your sources please, as they are facts. In terms of rankings, group A is harder. All four are top8, all four have won at least one big tournament in the past couple of months and all four are top contenders at tournaments (dignitas more or less). The same can't be said for fnatic and HellRaisers. In group A, 4 teams are fighting over 1 spot. In group B, 2 teams are fighting over 1 spot.
