Fuks joins LDLC Espoir

LDLC have announced that Simon "Fuks" Florysiak has joined their secondary team, called LDLC Espoir.

The move follows the team's disappointing run at the WESG Europe & CIS Regional Finals, in Kiev, where they finished at the bottom of their group without a single victory and with a -51 round record.

Simon "⁠Fuks⁠" Florysiak, who will replace Pedro "⁠AlluM3tt3⁠" Morais on the roster, was a free agent following the disbandment of Red Instinct in the aftermath of ESWC 2016.

Fuks joins LDLC's Academy team

He is no stranger to LDLC, having played for the organisation's "White" team between March 2015 and April 2016, during which they notably won an Assembly Winter title.

"After Red Instinct's disbandment, I had a few offers, but I decided to join LDLC Academy to have fun while playing with friends," he told Flickshot.fr.

"This is a short-term project to help young players such as hqx and Gauthier to grow in the French sub-top scene."

LDLC Espoir now have the following roster:

They played an event (can't remember the name) in Kiev i think (Allum3tt3 posted on twitter a thing about going to Kiev, like "thanks my mates for carrying me to this event") and they played against GodSent (the real one not the Academy) and lost 1-16 :s Fnatic Academy is an OK team, they have the level to go pro (not like GodSent Academy or LDLC Espoir in that case).

TEKO, hqx and Gauthierlelelele with 0.77/0.77 and 0.79 rating :/ (but over 10, 8 and 8 maps respectively) but on the few maps they played on LAN they had a 1-16 vs GodSent so i guess it destroys the rating.

Organizations get even more exposure to their name for a small cost (these guys have small salaries or no salaries at all), and i guess if a player starts to perform well they have the priority over other organizations to sign him for their first team. (only suppositions, but i guess those academy teams have good return on investments for organizations.)
