NRG eliminate CLG in Montreal

The first map of the match between NRG and CLG, Overpass, started out with NRG winning the pistol round thanks to Jacob "⁠FugLy⁠" Medina putting in four kills. NRG then quickly got ahead winning the first gun round. After trading a couple rounds with CLG, Fatih "⁠gob b⁠" Dayik and co. managed to run away with the first half with a particularly stellar Johannes "⁠tabseN⁠" Wodarz putting in 26 kills in the first 15 to end with an 11-4 lead.

The second pistol round also went the way of NRG, but CLG quickly turned it around winning the second round of the half and starting a long climb back into the game. CLG only gave up three rounds going onwards taking it all the way to the last round where they were able to tie the match. It was all for naught, though, as NRG swept the overtime and claimed the map 19-15.

The second map, Dust2, was a breeze for NRG, who after losing the pistol round chained nine in a row before giving the second one up, and took the half 12-3 with Nikola "⁠LEGIJA⁠" Ninić topping the scoreboard. Another four kill pistol round by FugLy all but sealed the deal for NRG, who ended up taking the map and match, 16-4.
