In our next interview, Epitacio "TACO" de Melo talked about SK's map pool, defeating G2 in the quarter-finals at IEM Oakland, and their upcoming semi-final against Astralis.

After placing second in Group B, SK faced G2 in the quarter-finals at IEM Oakland. After an underwhelming Nuke, the Brazilians took Train and Dust2 comfortably to advance to semi-finals.

We grabbed Epitacio "⁠TACO⁠" de Melo for an interview about the quarter-final, strengths and weaknesses of SK's map pool, and facing Astralis in tomorrow's semi-finals.

Don't get your hopes up, though, they're most likely not going to make it the way it was before. But I still expect it to be better than it is now.

all navi needs is their coach to be able to tell them what to do at the start of the round.

Nuke has so many thin walls that their cheat doesn't work well so they turn it off. That is the reason they permaban cache. Do you remember this clip? youtube.com/watch?v=C_rUvnuOWBc&t=7s

SK play Nuke against others teams is just training. That's the reason why they don't ban this map. I'm curious for what they are plan for Cache, I think they are training this map to be your secret weapon!

Actually, the reason they don't ban nuke is because cache is their perma-ban, so any team with decent nuke prefer to play it against sk.

taco's english has really improved in the past year. My favourite player to watch for sure. He rarely gets the highest stats, but it's just because of his role. Taco is a beast
