Immortals to ELEAGUE Major qualifier

Immortals have defeated Cloud9 2-0 (Cobblestone 16-11, Dust2 16-11) to advance to the ELEAGUE Americas Minor's grand final, thus securing a place at the ELEAGUE Major's Main Qualifier.

Cloud9 started well on Cobblestone, where they picked up an early 7-1 lead following winning the pistol round and two of the first three gunrounds. Lucas "⁠LUCAS1⁠" Teles then shut them down with three Deagle headshots, while João "⁠felps⁠" Vasconcellos got a triple defending a retake on the B bombsite.

That helped Immortals get a close 7-8 half as Terrorists before they also got the second pistol round in the bag. Apart from three gunrounds, the map was then firmly in the hands of the Brazilians, who won their pick at 16-11.

Immortals will take part in the Main Qualifier in mid-December

At the start of Dust2, Tyler "⁠Skadoodle⁠" Latham and Timothy "⁠autimatic⁠" Ta combined for five kills in the pistol round as T, but Lucas "⁠steel⁠" Lopes's side then replied in the forcebuy to get up to 5-1. The North American squad couldn't string more rounds together and their economy was in shreds shortly after they succeeded in one attack towards A.

Immortals got to a 8-2 lead but then dropped a 5v3 advantage to Jake "⁠Stewie2K⁠" Yip and autimatic, which helped Cloud9 win three of the last five rounds for a 5-10 half.

Once felps and company won the following pistol on the back of Henrique "⁠HEN1⁠" Teles's triple, Jordan "⁠n0thing⁠" Gilbert's team was down 5-13 and had little hope of coming back into the match. Cloud9 still made a solid effort, getting up to 11-14 much thanks to Mike "⁠shroud⁠" Grzesiek's two great rounds, but Immortals secured the last two to advance to the Minor's grand final.

Its not hard. Think about it, admins have been complaining about people hunting 1st post, and they have been actively trying to stop it. Now they have. Timeline: They post article to website but its not available for public yet. Admin logs into fake account. Admin posts 1st post from fake account. Hltv Make article public to all users.

Yeah they are baiting, it is true in the past these users used scripts that posted 1st post as soon as article has been posted. But this is different, the 1st post is now posted before the article is published for all to see. And it is a full on comment, not just something random like 1st. Meaning the poster gets access to the article before anyone else, only an admin could do that.
