EnVyUs send Spirit packing

EnVyUs thrashed Spirit 16-2 on Dust2 in the elimination match at the Main Qualifier.

With the pistol round and the first gunround going their way, Envy rocked started the offense with a 4-0 lead. The next four rounds went back and forth thanks to Spirit surprising nV with a forcebuy win, but from there on the half was very much in the hands of the Frenchmen.

Envy turned around a close situation on A due to a team kill from Vadim "⁠DavCost⁠" Vasilyev and began wreaking havoc on each site, winning all of the opening duels. The Russian side finished the half with only two rounds on the defense.

EnVyUs live to fight another day

Once Vincent "⁠Happy⁠" Schopenhauer saved a 1v3 attempt from Anton "⁠tonyblack⁠" Kolesnikov, the match was all but decided and Envy picked up a dominating victory at 16-2.

I don't think so, i mean, they were there to get experience and exposure more than getting the major, with all the teams that were out there, it was kinda impossible for them to get to the major. So yeah, kinda sad, but still a really good experience.

Yea, I agree. Anyways I feel kinda sad for them, because they played pretty good in the match against Dignitas. It's a pity that they didn't show us a bit more of that.
