FaZe secure Major spot over IMT

FaZe defeated Immortals 16-11 on Mirage to become the second team to qualify for the ELEAGUE Major from the Main Qualifier with a 3-0 record.

The last match of the day saw Lucas "⁠steel⁠" Lopes clutching a 1v2 with few HP left in the Terroristic pistol round. FaZe bought up in the third round and forced Immortals to save two guns twice in a row, one of which steel put to very good use with a triple for a 3-2 lead.

The European mixture replied back right afterwards, survived a close forcebuy attempt from the Brazilians and continued to break through Immortals' defenses with a few quick plays.

FaZe secure Major spot over Immortals

At 7-3, steel provided another triple in B apps thanks to a well-timed flash from a teammate and set off a streak of rounds going his team's way. The in-game leader clutched another 1v2 towards the end of the half, which helped Immortals stabilize and get an 8-7 lead.

Philip "⁠aizy⁠" Aistrup and Fabien "⁠kioShiMa⁠" Fiey combined for five kills in the second pistol round and their team also successfully defended both following anti-ecos. Henrique "⁠HEN1⁠" Teles's triple and 1v1 clutch gave his team their ninth round, while Aleksi "⁠allu⁠" Jalli got a triple of his own to reset Immortals' economy.

With FaZe getting another money-breaking round, they got up to match point at 15-9 and celebrated advancing to the Major at 16-11 with an eco round win.

ok, now serious business It was half-bait I guess, because many (supposedly top) teams now have either very good or straight up bad results You could said that astralis looks like clear favorite but they lost to optic so who knows with VP you never know when virtus.premier shows up and same could be said about navi or maybe sk with fox rest could be classifed as "underdogs" or just solid but not amazing like some top5 teams in beginning of 2016 or 2015 tl;dr optic vs godsent major final
