Na`Vi dismantle mouz in opener

Na´Vi kick off their ELEAGUE Major campaign by wrecking mousesports 16-3 on Cobblestone.

The CIS squad went up to a healthy 5-0 lead on CT side, though not without difficulties, as it required a last second defuse inside a molotov in the pistol round and then Ioann "⁠Edward⁠" Sukhariev clutching out a tense 1v1 against Denis "⁠denis⁠" Howell in the 3rd round to stabilize.

MOUZ have had a history of despairing performances on Cobblestone and the coordination continued to be absent in the pushes on to bombsites and Natus Vincere stared down the European mixture like a rock, marching ahead with four more rounds before Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač's soldiers scrambled together a take of the B-site in the end.

All smiles around as Na´Vi cruised to victory

The healthy bank for Ladislav "⁠GuardiaN⁠" Kovács and co. allowed them to pull out the double AWP's, which resulted in the reset, but somehow MOUZ were able to squeeze out three AK's and sped up the pace to take another round and lower the deficit to 2-10, but no momentum was to be gained and Natus Vincere closed out a dominant CT half with 13-2.

Timo "⁠Spiidi⁠" Richter and the team had no room for error going on to their CT-side and they survived the initial scare, but the CIS squad timed their A-split from drop very well to catch the defenders off guard and throw the mouse's economy into disarray, duly closing out the map 16-3.

mouz surely worked hard on their strats for major but execution and time luck wasn't on them. If they had real igl and NiKo used for proper firepower they would beat Na`Vi today, in other words team with more firepower defeated other one as both teams not having proper in game leader. If Na`Vi matches with Gambit tomorrow, it will be very interesting and to be honest, I want this to happen!

This seemed like such an easy matchup for Na`Vi. GuardiaN and s1mple going into GOD mode and taking the 1st map in the major easily. They absolutely crushed mousesports. I am very much enjoying watching this new Natus Vincere with s1mple, their practise has paid off! And GODian is coming back boys!

I didn't notice any God mode, Guardian and s1mple were just shooting what they should and it worked really nice. Na'Vi read them really properly, they exactly knew their strats,their plays.Great tactical match from Navi.

I absolutely agree with you dude. Edward's impact was the most underrated in 2016. I hope people will see his potential, even if he is too old now, but he is still GOLD.

that's what I wanted to see from NaVi camp: organized teamplay with Flamie entryfragging, Guardian returning back in form, Edward improvimg his aim, S1mple doing s1mple things and seized feeling comfortable in captain role with reading opponents moves.
