fnatic edge North on Cobblestone

fnatic win against North after a thrilling match on Cobblestone (16-13) to go 1-1 at the Major.

fnatic got off to a good start thanks to Dennis "⁠dennis⁠" Edman picking up four crisp USP-S kills defending the A bombsite of Cobblestone, destroying North in the pistol round. fnatic got to a 4-0 lead on the defensive side of the map before a swift B site play on an eco round got the Danish team on the scoreboard.

North turned the match around after that eco round win, with their B smoke-wall proving to be an unsolvable mystery for fnatic. Simon "⁠twist⁠" Eliasson, dennis, Joakim "⁠disco doplan⁠" Gidetun and Olof "⁠olofmeister⁠" Kajbjer tried to pick up the AWP at different times during the first half, mixing up positions and trying out double AWP setups, but to no avail - Mathias "⁠MSL⁠" Lauridsen's team was robotically efficient on their Terrorist side, winning the half 10-5.

dennis showed some great pistol skills once again

fnatic won the second pistol round, lost the first buy to René "⁠cajunb⁠" Borg's quad kill, but bounced straight back in the following one, using the economic buffer that they built earlier in the half.

The Swedes were on the brink of tieing the match at 11-11, but on a round on which North only had a couple of pistols Ruben "⁠RUBINO⁠" Villarroel showed up with three big CZ-75 kills before closing it out with a picked up AK-47.

The score was tight until the end, with the score being tied multiple times, but it was disco doplan who stepped up for his team and secured a number of impact kills to pull fnatic ahead and win the match 16-13.

Great joke to buy the team in which the team captain can't play

Bad start for North, but they managed to win 10 rounds in a row on the T side, but their CT side was weak. Well played fnatic, they were unstoppable on the T side. Keep it up.

T Sided map, their best map, and they couldn't close any pistol round. That was what make them lose, they need to secure pistol rounds.
