Gambit beat FaZe; to playoffs

Gambit have successfully defended their Legend Major status after defeating FaZe 16-14 on Overpass.

Fabien "⁠kioShiMa⁠" Fiey opened up the game with three quick kills inside B to give FaZe the first round. What followed was a hectic period as rounds went back and forth, with neither side being able to stamp their authority on the game.

The teams then took turns in stringing rounds together, but it was no surprise to see the half end with a close 8-7 scoreline in slight favour of Gambit.

Gambit through to the playoffs

The second half began with Gambit further adding to their lead after taking the first three rounds on the CT side. FaZe still tried to respond, but any round they took was quickly countered with a round by Gambit, who brought the scoreline to a 14-9 advantage.

It looked like it was all but over, but FaZe fired back and took the game to the 30th round, powered by some amazing plays from Aleksi "⁠allu⁠" Jalli. However, the European mixture ended up falling at the final hurdle, which means that they will have to fight for their tournament life in the last round of the Swiss stage.

Grats to Gambit, they were good on both sides. Unfortunately FaZe didn't manage to win this match, they couldn't compete against AdreN. He was such a beast this match, keep it up Gambit. Gj #1 :D

Good game, AdreN was too stronk for FaZe. FaZe lost some rounds due to stupid mistakes (rain not checking corners, they didn't use flashes etc.)

I can never beat these Saudi-Arabs, they're too consistent.

i feel like spending a lil time writing a script to do the same as his one does :) maybe i'll even opensource it later for some 1st comment chaos

Grats to Gambit for making it to playoffs! I'm so happy for Zeus once again he did it. Splendid performance by AdreN as well he was in beast mode, specially on first half of the match. It was pleasure to watch this match, many force buy wins and yet it still proving how pistols broken in this game.
