North joins ESL Pro League S5 list

dignitas' ESL Pro League Season 5 spot has been transferred to North, ESL has announced.

The final spot in the European Pro League division had been under review after dignitas parted ways with their CS:GO team, who then signed for Danish football club F. C. Copenhagen under the name North.

According to ESL, dignitas' Pro League license was removed "at their own request", with the spot being transferred to North, who must field the majority of the current lineup for the first 14 matches of the new Pro League season. After this, North will become a permanent ESL Pro League license holder.

North will play in the upcoming Pro League season

The new Pro League season will kick off on February 7 and will conclude with the offline finals in Dallas, on June 3-5. The following teams will compete in the European division:

FaZe	fnatic
G2	HellRaisers
MOUZ	Natus Vincere
Ninjas in Pyjamas	North
Virtus.pro	Kinguin
LDLC	HEROIC

english please. the spot was for dignitas. (they could have just put any team and play in there) but they gave away the spot to their old players. not many orgs are that friendly

You need a few teams so that top teams can win a few matches easily.

Interesting situation what will happen with nV, G2 and LDLC if the french shuffle happens. Are some of the orgs allowed to field a roster that has 2 or less players of the original team?
