OpTic invited to cs_summit

OpTic Gaming have been invited to cs_summit, a $100,000 tournament that will be held in Los Angeles, California this April.

cs_summit is the first Counter-Strike event from Beyond The Summit, a tournament organizer that originated in DotA2. The Summit tournaments stand out from the rest with their laid-back approach, similar to TakeTV's Predator Masters events.

OpTic are the second team to be invited to cs_summit

After revealing the event and the first invited team (SK) back in December, cs_summit have just announced the second team that will be present at the event: OpTic.

William "⁠RUSH⁠" Wierzba and co. will be in LA fighting for a piece of the $100,000 prize pool from April 19-23. cs_summit will feature eight teams all together, with the remaining six teams yet unknown.

k i would love to see him play with the pros but to play 10+ hrs of cs for an irrelevant team would be boring af. so im glad he declined

the teams hang out, sometimes theyll pull in some pros to help cast takes place at the BTS house. no fans, just the pros chilling together

These are my fav type of events tbh, always so fun and laid back. For anyone that hasn't seen one, it's definitely worth the watch :)

Basically copied from HomeStory Cup by TaKe in Starcraft 2 which has done these type of events for very long time with all pros sleeping/playing/casting/enjoying each other in a big house over couple of days.
