FaZe move past IMT in Kiev

Immortals began as Terrorists on Mirage and even though they had two quick picks, a slow B execution guaranteed them the first pistol round. In the force-buy, FaZe managed to kill four opponents with Deagle, but Henrique "⁠HEN1⁠" Teles pulled off a 1v1 to win the round and eventually the next one.

Håvard "⁠rain⁠" Nygaard and Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač then killed two each when holding bombsite A to win the first gun round. Immortals lost their eco round, but after that they executed B for a 4-2 lead. In a back and forth semi and force buy plays, Lincoln "⁠fnx⁠" Lau pulled off a quad-kill in a 2v4 clutch for a 6-4 lead.

It was on yet another semi-buy that FaZe got back to the game as Fabien "⁠kioShiMa⁠" Fiey killed two in a 1v2 clutch. The Brazilian side had to save money twice and their opponents took a 7-6 lead. Aleksi "⁠allu⁠" Jalli's triple-kill in round 15 led his team to finish the first half with a 9-6 lead.

As for the second pistol round, FaZe won it with a flawless A execute, following it up with the corresponding anti-ecos – where the Brazilian team failed to kill any opponent. Ricardo "⁠boltz⁠" Prass helped his team win the gun round with a triple-kill and Lucas "⁠LUCAS1⁠" Teles did exactly the same in the next one for.

In the 21st round, Finn "⁠karrigan⁠" Andersen almost pulled off a 1v3 clutch, but fnx's play prevailed and FaZe had to eco. As they picked weapons, allu picked up an AWP triple-kill and a won 1v1 to help his team secure a three round lead. In the following round, the Finnish player won a 1v2 and from that point onward money didn't help Immortals as FaZe finished the game 16-10.

PotM: Fabien "⁠kioShiMa⁠" Fiey is our Player of the Match as he boasted the highest round contribution (81%). The French player had a 87.4 ADR, a 1.29 rating and pulled off one of the most important rounds of the match – the 1v2 Deagle clutch that helped his team win four straight rounds and close the first half out with a 9-6 lead.
