StarSeries quarter-final draw

The draw to decide the matchups for the quarter-final stage of the SL i-League StarSeries Season 3 finals has taken place.

With FaZe, CLG and fnatic the final teams to book their place in the last eight, the quarter-finals of the $300,000 StarSeries event now have all the teams determined.

G2, one of the two teams to move from the Swiss round unscathed, have been handed a tricky-looking match against FaZe, while Natus Vincere will have to pit their wits against fnatic.

G2 will face FaZe in Saturday's opener

Astralis will go up against CLG, the surprise package of the tournament, while their Danish rivals North will take on HellRaisers.

Below you can find the schedule for Saturday's best-of-three matches:

09:00	G2	vs. FaZe
12:00	North	vs. HellRaisers
15:00	Natus Vincere	vs. fnatic
18:00	CLG	vs. Astralis

Hope the Danes will go to the final against each other!

G2 v FaZe and Na'Vi v Fnatic will be amazing matches, whereas the two others will be quite bleak. North vs HR could get interesting, but should be fairly simple for North.

If players 1 by 1 could be the decisive factor to speak about deservedness - G2 and fnatic would be the best teams in the world. But since we're talking about them as teams - no, FaZe didn't deserve to be there while the better teams were out just because they failed in bo1.

Yeah I know, NaVi and G2 couldn't meet HR (3-1), props to them btw However they could have met CLG, the weakest of the three 3-2 teams IMO, but no, Astralis got them :/ Ofc it's not rigged, ofc it's still a good format, and ofc you have to beat everyone to be the best In fact I'm mostly sad to see my 2 fav teams meet in quarters :P Those HR "upsets" disorganized the expected match-ups a bit I guess
