SK outclass Gambit; to grand final

SK decimated Gambit 2-0 (Cobblestone 16-4, Cache 16-7) in the upper bracket final of cs_summit, securing their place in the grand final.

Gambit opted to kick off Cobblestone with a B rush, which was stopped in its tracks by SK who had four players towards that site.

With comfortable anti-ecos and the first gunround going the Brazilians' way, the score was 5-0 before Dauren "⁠AdreN⁠" Kystaubayev's big double in B gave Gambit their first round. However, their economy was in shambles once João "⁠felps⁠" Vasconcellos shut down a B attack with a triple.

That allowed SK to rack up six rounds in a row, decimating every strategy Gambit threw at them. AdreN and Danylo "⁠Zeus⁠" Teslenko each put up a double (and a 1v2 in the latter's case) to break the streak. With solo plays all across the map and another clutch, that time a 1v1 by Mihail "⁠Dosia⁠" Stolyarov, the CIS-based squad finished the half at 4-11.

SK outclassed Gambit on both maps

At that point they had to win the pistol round, but Marcelo "⁠coldzera⁠" David and Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo turned a 2v4 situation around, allowing SK to cruise through the rest of the map and pick up a confident 16-4 victory.

Cache began with a big commotion on the A bombsite, in which Gambit bested SK narrowly and got off to a 3-0 start. A slow-paced B attack then finished with FalleN's team coming out on top, setting off a huge streak for SK who survived a few forcebuy attempts afterwards.

Gambit could barely put up any crucial frags in most of the following rounds, as the Brazilian side went up 9-3 before Zeus stepped up with a 1v1 clutch. However, that was all that went Gambit's way, as SK finished the half at 11-4 once again.

With a clean pistol round, the two-time Major champions were on their way to another quick affair, securing a 14-4 lead. Gambit survived the next three rounds, but they had too little room for mistakes as SK finished them off at 16-7.

He is very good and essencial for SK. SK already has 2 big offensive players (Fer and Felps) 1 Awper that change positions. And 1 Suporter that always support with kills. Taco is the only one that maks the safe positions. Less kills, but essencial to take the match.
