XANTARES & Calyx to HTC 2v2

Space Soldiers' Ismailcan "XANTARES" Dörtkardeş and Buğra "Calyx" Arkın have been announced as the latest team for the HTC 2v2 Invitational.

The Turkish duo have become the sixth pair confirmed for the prestigious tournament, with only two teams left to be determined.

Ismailcan "⁠XANTARES⁠" Dörtkardeş took part in last year's 1v1 Invitational, placing 9th-12th after losing to Richard "⁠shox⁠" Papillon and Michał "⁠MICHU⁠" Müller, both of whom would go on to reach the final.

XANTARES & Calyx will compete in the 2v2 tournament

With $50,000 at stake, the HTC 2v2 Invitational will take place from May 13-14 inside PGL's studios, in Bucharest. Matt "Sadokist" Trivett, Henry "⁠HenryG⁠" Greer and Chad "⁠SPUNJ⁠" Burchill will cast the tournament, with Pala "⁠Pala⁠" Gilroy Sen acting as host.

LMAO BnTeT whole career online against tier 8 Asian teams would love to see him at this event getting destroyed by tier 1 players. Every international LAN I watch with Chinese teams its always the same shit bad aim, shit tactics, 10,000 DPI, 10,000 sensitivity, can't even pre aim angles, crosshair flying all over the place but guess what that garbage works against the low level garbage they play online in your scene. When the shit tactics don't work they just play aggressive every round and get out aimmed and played everytime. I want the Asian scene to become good at some point but your top players haven't even played in a LAN yet, onliners with no experience at all, always roster changes nothing stable long term, no consistency, just some online stats which mean literally nothing because the level of competition it's being done against.

Think Xantares & Calyx has a good chance if you look at all the other teams each one of them has a pure aimer and a throw away players, Shox & kennyS, kennyS can only awp, zaaz & juliano are shit, s1mple sick aimer, denis shit, happy and scream, happy is shit and scream is a top aimer, Niko & Rain, Niko best player in the world, rain is alright nothing special and not even close to niko in any aspect of the game, would rather see NiKo with Kioshima, kioshima is a insane aimer very under rated player, popularity > skill.

I doubt that honestly, Xantares is a just a raw aimer this is the type of stuff he should excel in, I think you are remembering that 1v1 tournament he went to, I think that was more because he didn't know much LAN experience at that time, now he should be fine to play here.
