Official: dignitas add TENZKI & cromen

Jesper "TENZKI" Mikalski and Jørgen "cromen" Robertsen have been officially added to dignitas' roster, together with Morten "zEVES" Vollan who will be coaching the squad.

Dignitas has been playing with Jesper "⁠TENZKI⁠" Plougmann and Jorgen "⁠cromen⁠" Robertsen for a few weeks now, and have successfully qualified for the European Minor that will be held mid-June. Today, the team announced that the two players will officially be joining the team.

TENZKI will be returning to Dignitas after a stint in the organization in 2015-2016, while cromen will be coming in after impressing in various Norwegian teams, with Norse being the most recent one.

Another Norse player will be coming along with cromen. Morten "⁠zEVES⁠" Vollan Christensen, who announced that he will be stepping back from a playing position following Norse's disbandment, will be coaching Dignitas—the now Norwegian based side.

This is what cromen had to say about him officially joining Dignitas:

"It is an honor to move into a starting position with a legendary organization like Team Dignitas and play alongside such experienced teammates. This is a perfect opportunity for me to show my potential to the team and the world."

"Lately, our results have shown great improvement and we can be a top contender with more time to practice and synergize together. We are fortunate to have such incredible fans, leadership, and sponsors supporting us."

Team Dignitas President Michael "ODEE" O’Dell added a comment as well:

"Piecing together a successful team is an art, over my years in the eSports industry I find my greatest satisfaction and challenge is assembling talented lineups with the potential to become world champions. I welcome our new coach zEVES and we welcome back TENZKI. Cromen is an obvious talent who will make a lot of noise moving forward. I look forward to seeing this squad at the world’s most elite competitions."

The press release from Dignitas didn't mention their former starting players Mikail "⁠Maikelele⁠" Bill or Faruk "⁠pita⁠" Pita, so their status still remains unclear.

some of what rubino said: 1) maikel should rifle more, his rifles are better than his awp. 2) he cant speak about why maikel got kicked. 3) zeves has already helped him massively with IGLing and getting accustomed to the role meanwhile pita was a coach twice (iircc) before. once in CLG, they were pretty shit when he was there. once when nip won the major and they said afterwards he didnt do anything in terms of real coaching pretty much.

Idk about NIP but please link me where anyone said from NIP that pita didn't do shit, and tell me how Pita made 1 Tier 1 player, Tarik, Tier 2 Player JDM and 3 Tier 4 na players into a Legendary Team for the Major?

nah im not gonna link u to dat shit bcs id have to find it and i dont even know where to look, what player said it in what interview or whatever. i just remember it, take it or leave it. "pita made CLG major legends" ya right, he made them that. they were a decent team since their rise early 2015, their results with pita were not at all better than without him and the team split apart with him at the same time. and thats bcs they were dogshit. in any case probably him leaving and maikel leaving was tied together so dignitas probably didnt have an option to keep him as coach. rubino has played with zeves in the past, both from nor, i think its a good fit and rubino said as much already so why even bother.

Maikelele had no good teammates on his Roster and was destroying the team and couldn't Carry hard enough while fox was the one being carried. +1, been advising him monthly on dig game and can confirm that his english is on a level good enough for playing cs and communicating in english. Thats pretty solid english u need to properly communicate and get 97% pf situations right!

I have to admit that his English is not the best but this is an interview and the English that he needs in the game is not the same as an interview .. And when fox dies they speak your language .. maybe that's why the fox rushs all rounds .

I think its fine. a couple of months and a norwegian/danish team should not have a problem communicating in norwegian/danish. If the danes just try to talk a little less potato and the norwegians a bit more potato, you have the perfect mix and everybody should get used to each other :D

yeah, rubino is really good and jkaem isn't really steping up, fox is kinda "untrained" 'coz he's missing shots that he usually hit, cromen is god in mirage (which is their best map right now) and tenzki... hmm. i don't know 'bout him but he seems solid to me

its 2017 i tought people already saw trought the language barrier bs only reason people keep asking for full 1 nation line ups, is nationalism a.k.a wanting more players from their country in a decent team, this is cs ffs, not a spelling bee competition in danish, if they know around 100 english words they have no reason not to have perfect comms

Danes and swedes will prolly have a hard time communicating too, so most of what tenzki says would have to be english, assuming maikelele replaces fox. And also communication outside the game is also very important, tenzki might also have to speak english to the norwegians there, which makes it kind of useless to kick fox purely to get a swede, maybe a norwegian but I dont see any talent that has enough experiance.

Overall this lineup is better than the previous one with pita and maikelele, but obviously isnt anywhere near top 1, and it will take a lot of dedication to get them top tier 1. About the fox situation, from what i've read the danish guys cant really understan norwegian that well, so they are all speaking english anyway, but if another roster change happen will most likely be fox getting cut.
